New promo: Earn up to 16,000 bonus points at three Hyatt brands

It's been a while since Hyatt last launched a global promotion, but if you were hoping that this meant that the hotelier was gearing up to offer us something exciting and potentially lucrative, prepare to be disappointed.

All the latest Qatar Airways offers, deals and promotions (by region)

Qatar Airways often lets us know what offers it's running in various regions of the world so we're using this page to pull all those promotions together to let you see what's on offer and where.

Hilton Manchester Deansgate will rebrand as the InterContinental Manchester Deansgate

a white sign with black text
IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a new property in the UK and while the announcement signals a solid positive step forward for IHG, it also signals the loss of a key UK property for Hilton.

This is why Avios collectors should have an Iberia Club account (even if they don’t usually fly with Iberia)

a plane parked on the runway
Iberia Club is the new name for Iberia Plus, the loyalty program of Iberia - a sister airline to British Airways and Aer Lingus and just like the British Airways Club, Iberia Club uses Avios as its currency of choice. There are, however, a few key differences between the two that can make Iberia Club very useful to Avios collectors.

A nice sweet spot in the Iberia Club award chart (Europe to/from the Caribbean)

a group of straw umbrellas on a beach
The Caribbean is a hugely popular destination for travelers from both sides of the Atlantic, but not only can it be an expensive place to stay, it can also be an expensive place to fly to in any kind of comfort. Fortunately for miles & points fans, there's at least one very economical Business Class award available for travel between Europe and the Caribbean (or the Caribbean and Europe), and it's an award that can open up travel to multiple destinations.

The British Airways ‘best price guarantee’ has been improved

a plane flying in the sky
The fact that most large hotel chains offer some sort of price guarantee is pretty well known. What appears to be less well known is that a number of airlines offer a similar policy, and as I've just noticed that the British Airways best price guarantee has (at some point in the recent past) improved significantly, this seems like a good time to remind readers what it offers.

You can now convert Amex points to Avios with a 30% bonus (this can be good)

an airplane with rows of seats
For the next six weeks, Amex is offering a 30% bonus to cardholders willing to convert Membership Rewards Points into Avios issued by three airlines, and in certain circumstances (discussed in this article), this bonus can be put to very good use despite some of the Avios devaluations we've endured in the past 12 months.

Look out for a truly fantastic new welcome offer from Chase

One of the few benefits of writing for a site like this one is that every now and again banks, PR agencies, hotels, airlines, and loyalty programs present you with information that hasn't yet been made available to the general public.

Beware of ITA’s Valentine’s sale. The discount offer is deceptive.

a blue and white airplane with windows
Across various regions, ITA Airways is currently promoting various versions of its Valentine's day sale in which the airline appears to be offering between 20% and 25% off Economy and/or Business Class fares that are booked in the next few days. The terms and conditions vary (slightly) from region to region as does the discount on offer, but the one thing that all the sales appear to have in common is that the savings are not even close to being as good as you may be expecting.

Deal: Buy Iberia gift cards with up to 10% off

a plane with stairs on the side
Iberia is currently running a Valentine's Day promotion in which it's selling its gift cards with between 5% to 10% off face value (the greater the value of the gift card, the greater the discount). The sale will run for a few more days and may be useful if you're planning to book flights with Iberia or one of its two subsidiaries ... but make sure you pay close attention to the terms and conditions.

I can’t work out what British Airways is doing with its frequent flyer program

the tail of an airplane
I'm very sure that somebody, somewhere in the bowels of Waterside, believes that the changes being made to the British Airways Executive Club are the beginning of an increased source of revenue for British Airways, and that the changes herald the dawn of a new era for the airline's relationship with its customers, but I haven't yet seen or read anything that explains to me how this is all going to happen in practice.

Thinking of buying or holding British Airways Avios? Be very, very careful.

a plane on the runway
With multiple airlines now using Avios as their frequent flyer program's currency, it's a currency that's never held a wider appeal than it does right now, but it's also a currency which for some, is extra risky to buy right now.

A guide to Marriott Bonvoy Annual Choice Benefits (make your selections by 1 February 2025)

a sign on a building
As we enter the last day of January and with the deadline for Marriott's Annual Choice Benefits selection looming large, it's time to take a look at what Marriott is offering Bonvoy members who credited 50 and 75 elite nights to their accounts in 2024.

Reminder: Holders of Amex Platinum cards should select their airline for fee credits

an airplane wing and clouds
Selecting the airline on which to use the airline fee credit is usually one of the first things that a lot of people do when they get their Platinum card in the mail, but what a lot of people often forget is that you can change the airline on which you use this credit once per year.

Review: Park Hyatt London River Thames (a high-end Hyatt in the wrong location)

a group of tall buildings next to a body of water
The Park Hyatt London River Thames is the newest Hyatt in London (it opened its doors in October last year) and it's the most high-end Hyatt in London, so its opening has been keenly anticipated for a number of years. After giving the property a couple of months to get up to speed and to iron out any post-opening issues, I booked a two night stay to see what the hotel has to offer and to see if it could overcome the one big concern I had when the property was first announced.

How to earn Delta Lifetime Medallion Elite status [2025 edition]

an airplane flying over a city
Back in 2021, Delta made a positive update to its Million Miler elite status program by giving flyers the chance to lock in its top-tier SkyMiles Diamond Medallion status for life (albeit for the life of the program, not the life of the traveler) and that was a surprisingly positive move for Delta to make. Since the start of last year, however, earning Delta lifetime elite status has been harder to earn, so this is what you need to know about Delta's Million Miler program.

I got three nice, small, “gifts” from the miles & points world to start the year

clouds in the sky
As a Gold member of the British Airways Executive Club who flies on his own dime and for as few dimes as possible, I can't say that 2025 has started out particularly promisingly, but the miles and points world has seen fit to give me three nice (albeit quite small) gifts to get the new year started so it's not all doom and gloom here at TFM.

Etihad announces 10 new international routes (one is a new US route)

an airplane on the runway
A few weeks ago, Etihad told us that a series of new route announcements were on the way and over the past few days, the airline has been dropping hints as to what these new routes will be. Today, the new routes have been announced with Asia being the main beneficiary but with the US getting a new route too.

British Airways elites now get benefits on Aer Lingus

It has been a long time coming (considering BA and Aer Lingus share a parent company), but as of today, British Airways Bronze, Silver, and Gold card holders now get to enjoy select benefits when they fly with Aer Lingus.

In time for any good Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals that may come along, Amex has launched a new targeted offer for spending with Qatar Airways in which it's offering a $300 statement credit on bookings made for travel originating in the United States.

Hyatt Americas Cyber Sale: Save up to 25% on stays into April 2025

a room with a bed and a chair
Yesterday IHG was the first of the big hotel chains to launch a Cyber Sale and it hasn't taken Hyatt long to follow suit, although the sale that Hyatt has unveiled today is considerably narrower in scope than the one IHG published yesterday. IHG's sale is valid worldwide while this Hyatt sale is limited to the Americas.

The Hyatt Place London Paddingdon will have rooms that are just 96 square feet in size

a bed with two lamps
The Hyatt Place London Paddington was originally scheduled to open earlier this year and as I was really looking forward to seeing what the new property would offer, I was a little disappointed when I discovered (back in April) that the property wouldn't be opening its doors until 2025.

Get 20% back on points bookings with Homes & Hideaways from Hyatt

a log cabin with a garage and a driveway
While Marriott's Homes & Villas offering has been around for some time, Hyatt is considerably newer to the vacation rentals space, and just like Marriott, it seems to be keen to incentivise usage of its Homes and Hideaways properties through its World of Hyatt loyalty program. For a limited time, Hyatt is now offering World of Hyatt members the chance to get 20% back on points bookings that are consumed between now and March next year.

Save on Hilton bookings in Las Vegas & the rest of Nevada [Targeted offer]

a sign on a building
Following on from Best Western/SureStay offer that we wrote about earlier, we have a second useful travel offer from Amex that has appeared in our accounts. This deal is for Hilton properties in Las Vegas/Nevada and it's offering a saving of $100 on select stays that are paid for by 17 March 2025 (St. Patrick's day!).

Surprising: Amex has improved my targeted spending offer … again!

a close up of a logo
Towards the end of September, American Express began targeting select business card holders for spending bonuses that run through the end of the year. I was one of the targeted cardholders, but the offer I was targeted for was far from tempting. Towards the end of October, Amex caught me by surprise when it made a change to that targeted offer, but the surprise that I felt back then doesn't really compare to the surprise I felt this morning when I saw that the offer had been changed for a second time.

Save $100 on select Best Western bookings (targeted offer)

A new targeted offer has appeared on our American Express cards in the past 24 hours and this one is offering a credit for spending made at select Best Western and SureStay hotels by the end of this calendar year.

First look: Iberia A321XLR Business Class cabin review

a large white airplane with red writing on it
Over the past week and ahead of its debut on the Madrid – Boston route on 14 November, Iberia was meant to be operating its first A321XLRs on orientation flights within Europe, but due to unforeseen delays, the first flights took place yesterday and I managed to catch up with the aircraft in Paris as it made its way back to its home base in Madrid on just its second ever flight with paying passengers.

Save at Destination by Hyatt properties with this targeted offer

a pool with lounge chairs and umbrellas
When it comes to hotel partners, American Express usually favors Marriott, Hilton, and occasionally IHG, but we've also been seeing more Hyatt offers appearing in 2024 and a new Hyatt offer is now available in targeted member accounts.

Make sure you’re earning easy Amex points through Rakuten

a large building with a large sign on it
Cash back can be great, but in the miles and points world it's the versatile transferable currencies that rule and that's why Rakuten's partnership with American Express can be a key tool to use in your day-to-day miles and points strategy. This becomes especially true as we enter the two months of the year which, for a lot of people, are the months in which a lot of shopping and spending is done.

Finnair is adding more flights to four US cities in 2025 (Business Class awards easy to find)

a row of seats in an airplane
Finnair has confirmed that it plans to add more flights to a number of its international destinations in 2025 and four of those destinations are cities in the United States. Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Seattle will all be getting more flights from Helsinki than were originally scheduled as the airline looks to feed more passengers into the American Airlines domestic network.

Update on Hyatt reservations at the Tommie Hollywood

a room with a cow skin rug and couches
A couple of days ago we wrote about the news that Hyatt will be losing one, possibly two, of its properties in Los Angeles and as I just happen to have reservations at both of the properties in question, I can now offer an update on what Hyatt's official line appears to be and on how it's dealing with cash bookings at one of the affected properties.

United Airlines opens up reservations on 8 new transatlantic routes

a plane on the tarmac
Around two weeks ago, United Airlines announced a series of new routes for the northern hemisphere summer season next year. At the time of the announcement, the flights had yet to be loaded into the booking system and we didn't have all the details surrounding the flight timings and aircraft that United plans to use on these routes. Now, for eight of the new routes, bookings are open, and the schedules have been published.

You can now use Qantas Points to book awards on Oman Air

a plane flying in the sky
Oman Air may now not be expected to join the Oneworld Alliance before the middle of 2025, but that doesn't appear to be preventing the airline from expanding its partnerships to include more airlines from within the alliance.

Update on US CBP preclearance in Abu Dhabi (good news)

a large airplane on a tarmac
A little over two weeks ago, we wrote about the news that passengers on two of Etihad’s US bound flights would, for a transitional period, not be able to use the US CBP preclearance facility in Abu Dhabi and would have to clear immigration upon arrival in the United States just as passengers on most other flights have to do. Well, there's now some good news to share.

Aer Lingus will add flights to Indianapolis from 2025

a green clover with white text
In the past month, we've seen Aer Lingus confirm that it's adding more flights to Denver and Minneapolis/St Paul next year and that it will launch a new route to Nashville from April 2025. Now we have confirmation that the Irish flag carrier will add yet another US destination to its route map in 2025 - Indianapolis.

On which domestic routes does Delta currently offer widebody aircraft?

a man sleeping in a bed
Generally speaking, widebody aircraft are configured for long-haul international flying, and this means that the cabins you'll find onboard are often more comfortable than the cabins offered on the narrowbody aircraft that we usually find operating domestically on short haul routes.

Hyatt is losing one (possibly two) of its properties in Los Angeles

The rooftop pool at the Tommie Hollywood
Even though we have a home in Los Angeles, a need to get some work done to our home  means that I have to move out for a few days, and because hotel loyalty programs can still make me do irrational things, those few days were meant to see me staying at two of Hyatt properties in the city.

Save on select IHG stays with this new Amex offer [Targeted]

a view of a city from a window
Amex has just launched a new targeted offer spending at select IHG properties in the US and its territories, and while this offer doesn't cover some of IHG's more upscale brands, the saving on offer should still be useful and relatively simple to lock in.

Save $175 off select Cathay Pacific bookings with this offer [Targeted]

a row of seats in an airplane
A day after Cathay Pacific revealed its new Business seat (Aria suite), Amex has launched a new targeted offer for spending with the Hong Kong based carrier in which it's offering a $175 statement credit on bookings made for travel originating in the United States.

Multiple Alaska Mileage Plan changes are on the way for travel in 2025

a white airplane on a runway
Mileage Plan is in a state of flux right now as Alaska Airlines continues to make changes to its loyalty program. A series of changes to Mileage Plan were first announced in late 2023 and these started to come into effect from the beginning of 2024. Now, more of the promised tweaks are ready to be introduced and yet more new changes have been announced.

Save 10% on your next Hyatt Place stay with this offer [Targeted]

a sign on a wall
If my cards are anything to go by, the past few months have seen Chase focusing heavily on offers on stays for Marriott properties with little or no offers appearing for stays made with Hyatt. Well, that has now changed with select cardholders being targeted for a Hyatt Place offer.

Deal: Get cash back on Hyatt stays in Hawaii [Targeted]

a beach chair with palm trees and a blue sky
A new set of Amex offers have dropped this morning and the most interesting travel related offer appears to be one that's offering a statement credit for spending made with Hyatt hotels and resorts in Hawaii.

Unsurprisingly, Hilton Points are on sale again (get 5 nights in the Maldives for $2,400 if you’ve been targeted)

a group of huts on water
Hilton is back with yet another mystery points sale just a couple of weeks after the last points sale ended, so it's probably time that we stop thinking of these events as 'sales' and start thinking of the times when a sale isn't on as an aberration.

Big devaluation coming to the Hyatt & American Airlines partnership

a plane flying above the clouds
Under the guise of offering members "new choices, valuable redemptions and status opportunities" Hyatt and American Airlines have announced a series of serious changes to their partnership which will, in effect, make that partnership considerably less useful for most people. This is a big devaluation that's on the way.

Unfortunately, passengers on two of Etihad's US bound flights are, for a 'transitional period', no longer able to use the US CBP preclearance facility in Abu Dhabi and will have to clear US immigration upon arrival just as passengers on most other flights have to do.

Deal: Alaska Airlines miles on sale with a mystery bonus [Targeted]

For the second month running, Alaska Airlines has launched a new mileage sale in which it's offering select Mileage Plan members a mystery maximum bonus which varies from account to account.

These are the major 4Q 2024 hotel promotions from Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, and Marriott

a patio with chairs and tables on a balcony
Now that we're into October and into the fourth quarter of 2024, there's a good chance that we're not going to see any more major hotel promotions announced before the end of the year and with that in mind, here are all the big promotions from Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, and Marriott that cover some or all of the period between now and 31 December 2024.

Get a 25% bonus on select conversions to Qatar Airways Avios (+ earn an extra bonus for large conversions)

a group of airplanes on a runway
Qatar Airways has launched a new version of the bonus Avios promotion which we saw running in May, and this time around there are a few key differences that you should keep in mind. Usually, this offer is for a 30% bonus and is restricted to banking currencies only. This time around there's a 25% bonus on offer, ALL (Accor's loyalty program) and Shangri-La Circle are included, and Qatar Airways is throwing in an extra bonus for every 100,000 Avios created in one move.

Spend $300 and get $100 back at select Radisson Blu & Cambria Hotels [Targeted]

a group of tall buildings in a city
Two weeks after we saw Amex launch a targeted offer for spending made with select Ascend Collection and Radisson Hotels in the Americas, a second targeted Radisson/Choice Hotels offer has appeared which covers stays at Radisson Blue and Cambria Hotels in the Americas.

Aer Lingus will fly to Nashville from April 2025

a sign on a brick wall
In the past couple of years, Aer Lingus has been making a concerted effort to boost its transatlantic presence with new routes to the US, more flights to the US, and closer ties to its biggest US airline partner, and now its continuing that trend with the announcement that from April 2025, Nashville will appear on its route map.

Get up to 10% back on your next Radisson Rewards award booking (capped at 9,000 points)

a building with a sign on the front
Radisson Rewards (the non-Americas version) is currently offering members a one-off chance to earn a rebate of up to 10% (capped at 9,000 points) on their next award stay. Clearly, this isn't a reason to get excited about a program that has been devalued so badly that even Delta SkyMiles executives think things may have gone too far, but if you still have a stack of Radisson points, this may be of interest.

Earn double Hyatt points at Mr & Mrs Smith hotels

a swimming pool with palm trees and a house
Coming a week after we saw Hyatt announce a double points promotion for select stays made in Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania, Hyatt is back with another double points promotion that covers all Mr & Mrs Smith properties that currently participate in the World of Hyatt.

Get 15% off award night stays at new IHG hotels and resorts

a large white building surrounded by trees
Hyatt offers a handful of bonus points to customers staying at one of its recently opened properties, but IHG goes a little further by making stays at select new properties a little cheaper for customers booking with points. Specifically, it makes bookings 15% cheaper for a limited time and for some, this will be a useful saving to be offered.

Get $200 back on Amex Travel Virgin Atlantic bookings [Targeted]

a seat in a plane
The offer discussed in this article is slightly different to the usual Virgin Atlantic offer Amex publishes (the other offer launched today) in that the spending target and the statement credit are both lower and the offer is only valid on spending made through Amex Travel.

A big Virgin Atlantic Flying Club devaluation may be on the way, but should you care?

a red and blue tail fin of an airplane
Virgin Atlantic issued a press release yesterday that gave us a heads up that we may be seeing a big devaluation to the Virgin Flying Club from the end of this month, but as the team leading the Flying Club program has chosen not to provide any real details about what's heading our way, it's hard to say just how bad the upcoming changes are. More importantly, however, should anyone really care?

Earn 30% bonus United Airlines miles when you convert select hotel currencies

a plane on the tarmac
Just as it did in October last year, the United Airlines MileagePlus program is again offering members a 30% bonus when they convert select hotel currencies into MileagePlus miles. For members with Marriott Bonvoy points, this could be a good deal. For people with orphaned hotel points that qualify for this promotion, this could be a good deal. For just about everyone else, this is a promotion to avoid.

30% more Avios when you convert Chase Ultimate Rewards Points

a sign on a building
Chase Ultimate Rewards has launched a promotion in which it's offering a bonus on points transfers to the three key Avios-issuing airlines - British Airways, Iberia, and Aer Lingus - so anyone who wasn't able to take advantage of the Amex transfer bonus that ended yesterday now has a second chance to boost their account balance(s).

Save on select spending with Small Luxury Hotels of the world [Targeted offer]

Almost exactly a year to the day we last saw this targeted offer appear (that was on 2 October 2023), Amex is again offering targeted cardholders a saving for spending made directly with Small Luxury Hotels of the World by the end of the year.

What I assume are mistakes in the Chase Sapphire Preferred terms and conditions can make things confusing

a bed with white sheets and pillows
One of the benefits that comes as part of the package offered by the Chase Sapphire Preferred® credit card is a $50 credit that is automatically applied to a cardholder's account once a year when they use their card to make a hotel booking through the Chase Travel℠ portal, and up until now, I thought I understood the terms and conditions that come attached to this benefit.

Targeted: Save $100 on select Chase Travel bookings (stack with bonus points offer)

a bed with pillows on it
Yesterday, we wrote about a targeted offer that hasn't been particularly well publicised in which Chase is offering 10,000 or 20,000 bonus points on select bookings made through Chase Travel℠. Well, it looks like select Chase cards are also being targeted for a deal offering $100 off select Chase Travel℠ bookings, and these two offers should stack.

Why the Park Hyatt London River Thames will have to be very, very good

a group of tall buildings next to water
I'm a big fan of the Park Hyatt brand. Out of all the top brands that the major miles & points chains operate, it's my favorite. The St. Regis brand occasionally comes close, but I would choose a Park Hyatt over most InterContinental, Ritz-Carlton, and Waldorf Astoria properties in the same city.

Air France is the latest airline to sign-up for Starlink wifi

a white airplane flying in the sky
Recently, we had Hawaiian Airlines confirm that it now offers a 'fast and free' Starlink wifi service across all of its aircraft and we've seen United Airlines announce that it will start rolling out free Starlink wifi to its customers from next year, and now Air France says that it will be joining in.

Earn 10,000 – 20,000 points with one Chase Travel booking [Targeted]

a wall with white text on it
Chase is targeting select card holders for a deal in which it's offering between 10,000 and 20,000 points for spending made through Chase Travel℠. There's a minimum spend requirement of $500 and that spending needs to be made in a single transaction, but other than that, this looks like a pretty straightforward offer.

SkyTeam & Eurostar have announced a partnership (will we earn & burn miles/points on Eurostar?)

a train station with a roof and a roof
SkyTeam (the alliance which includes the likes of Delta, Air France, KLM, and Virgin Atlantic) and Eurostar (the European high-speed train operator) have announced that they have signed a partnership agreement that will see the airlines of SkyTeam and Eurostar working closely together.

British Airways delays the introduction of Club Suites on its Singapore route

a seat in a plane
At 6,765 miles, the London - Singapore route is one of BA's longer routes and the schedules have, up until now, told us that the airline was planning to swap out the A380 that currently operates one of this route's two daily flights for a Boeing 777-300ER (complete with the new Club Suites) from the end of March next year.

This Hyatt Place property is now offering Globalist members two breakfast options

a room with tables and chairs
With Hilton having devalued its breakfast benefit at properties across the US and with more and more properties apparently doing their best to offer guests as little as they think they can get away with it, or to gouge them with indefensible Destination Fees that cover absolutely nothing of any use, it's easy to think that as far as hotel benefits go, there's only one direction that we're going in. Backwards.

Hyatt has plans for a new property in the Maldives

a long line of houses on a long island
Hyatt currently has two hotels in the Maldives. There's the Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa (a name that never fails to make me think of someone laughing) and the Alila Kothaifaru Maldives, but going forward, there may be a third.

SAS makes cuts on select routes to/from the United States

a seat in a plane
SAS has recently joined the SkyTeam alliance and since then, we've started to see the airline building up a hub in Copenhagen and we've seen it bringing back routes between Europe and the United States that haven't operated for years. It's not, however, all expansion, expansion, expansion, at SAS HQ

Earn double Hyatt points at 320+ properties (all regions except Americas)

a bridge over water with buildings and trees
IHG, Hilton, and Marriott are all running global promotions for the upcoming months, so out of the major miles & points hotel chains, Hyatt has been the only one that up until now, hasn't thrown its customers a bone. Well, a bone (of sorts) has now been thrown, but Hyatt fans hoping for a Bonus Journeys promotion that's valid worldwide are in for a bit of a disappointment.

Hyatt is bringing the Andaz brand to Australia

a group of tall buildings next to a road
Australia doesn't really offer World of Hyatt fans a lot of options as at the time of writing, there are just nine open Hyatt properties across the whole country, there are no Hyatt's west of Melbourne, and because Mr & Mrs Smith properties offer minimal benefits to guests with Hyatt status, they're not much help either.

Hyatt Regency London Albert Embankment review

a boat on the water
The Hyatt Regency Albert Embankment is one of four Hyatt Regency Properties in London and it joined the World of Hyatt in January 2023 after spending the preceding years as the Crowne Plaza London Albert Embankment. I first visited this property just after it had joined Hyatt (the pens in the room still had Crowne Plaza markings), but as I didn't review the property at the time, I recently made space in my calendar for another visit.

Save up to 40% on select Marriott stays with this Amex offer [Targeted]

a sign on a wall
American Express has brought back targeted offer that we last saw launched at the end of May and which ran through August. These are Delta’s five new summer routes to Europe (+ two route resumptions)

a row of seats in a plane
Over the weekend, Delta Air Lines updated its schedules for summer 2025 to include five new routes to four different countries and the resumption of two European routes that the airline hasn't operates since 2016 and 2020 respectively. This is what all of those routes look like (including the newly published schedules).

Last week was a week with a lot of news covering new and returning routes to the US and Europe as well as some key announcements from JetBlue, an update from Hilton, and details of Emirates' plans to bring its latest cabins to its transatlantic routes. You'll find links to all these stories as well as a few other articles in the list below.

Sometimes, it can be a chore to keep up with all the deals that get launched or discussed when you have a job to hold down and/or a family to look after, so here are the deals we wrote about in the past week all condensed into a single page with links to the various articles in which we discuss each deal in more detail.

Hyatt’s newest Los Angeles property is now part of the World of Hyatt

a room with a desk and a table
The newest Hyatt in LA county is the Hyatt Centric Delfina Santa Monica and while the property has been bookable through Hyatt for a few weeks, it was only added to the World of Hyatt on Wednesday 18 September. Don't, however, rush to book the property just yet. It's a Hyatt in name, but it probably has a little way to go before it's a Hyatt in the way that most Hyatt fans would expect and want it to be.

Amex is making the redemption of Uber credits a little more irritating

a card on a leather wallet
Both the Platinum Card from American Express and the American Express Gold Card offer cardholders Uber/Uber Eats credits that can be used within the United States and up until now, these credits have been easy to use and haven't required much thought. From November, that's no longer going to be the case.

Stack two points promotions + a 10% cash back deal on your next IHG stay (select brands)
