Earlier I wrote about a new targeted offer that has appeared today in which Amex is offering select cardholders a discount for stays at some Waldorf Astoria, Cornard, and LXR hotels. This, therefore, seems like a good time to remind readers that another promotion is also available for select stays at these properties and that both deals can be stacked.
Amex is currently targeting select cardholders with a couple of new deals which between them, offer savings on stays made with three Hilton brands in the US and US Territories as well as at all Hilton properties in Mexico. Both offers are valid through the end of April and at least one is being targeted holders of Amex's co-branded Hilton Honors cards.
Hilton has announced the opening of the WB Abu Dhabi which is the first Warner Bros. themed property in the world. The property has joined Hilton's Curio Collection and is located just steps away from Hilton's Doubletree and Warner Bros World and a very short walk from Waterworld on Abu Dhabi's Yas Island.
Hilton has launched a new sale in which it's offering discounts of up to 30% on suites at its resorts in Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean, and French Polynesia. Hilton Honors members have to book an Advance Purchase rate to lock in any discount that a property is offering and while that's usually a very inflexible rate, a quirk within Hilton's terms and conditions means that these sale rates aren't quite as rigid as they may seem.
Hilton is introducing a couple of new measures which should make the travel lives of guests and Hilton Honors elite members a little easier. Coming soon, Hilton Honors elites will get advance notice when their space-available upgrade has been cleared by a property and Hilton guests who have downloaded the Hilton app and are a room's primary occupant will be able to share their digital key with those with whom they're traveling.

Earlier this year, we found out how strong a partnership American Express and Hilton have when we saw Amex effectively fund Hilton's cashflows as the pandemic brought travel to a standstill. Now we're getting a further look at just how close the two are as American Express launches targeted offers for 10 (yes, ten!) of Hilton's brands.
The Conrad London St James is arguably Hilton's best property in London, but it's a property I had never visited until recently as I usually prefer to make the most of the fantastic weekend deals that are often on offer at the London Marriott Canary Wharf. On this occasion, Joanna and I were looking for a change of scenery and with the Conrad selling award nights at a very reasonable price, it was easy to decide to see what the property has to offer.
Various Conrad Hotels around the world are currently promoting deals and offers with a view to tempting guests back into their properties so, if you're considering making a booking, it's worth checking these out before you make any firm plans. Keep in mind that these deals are not available at all Conrad properties so make sure you pay close attention to the participating locations lists in the post below.
Just as we saw in the Great Recession it looks like major corporations are starting to turn to their financial partners to help with any liquidity problems that they may have and, this time around, it looks like Hilton is first to the well with a 1 billion dollar cash injection from American Express.
