Flying Blue has released its Promo Awards for October 2024 which cover travel through 31 March 2025 and as usual, you can now book select Air France and KLM awards with a 25% discount.
This month, the choices are, again, very disappointing (unless you’re searching for a transatlantic Economy Class deal) as 23 of the 27 Promo Awards are only valid for Economy Class bookings, there are no Premium Economy awards at all, and the the four Business Class awards are only valid on short haul (and mostly niche) routes.
The sweet spot this month may be the Economy Class awards between North America and Europe which cost 15,000 miles + surcharges, especially for anyone who’s restricted to flying during school vacations when transatlantic cash fares can be expensive.

Bottom line
Flying Blue has now released details of its October 2024 Promo Awards which cover travel through 31 March 2025 and which must be booked by 31 October 2024.
The month’s awards are, again, very disappointing with no long haul premium cabin deals at all (not even Premium Economy) and just four short haul Business Class deals of which three are for routes within France.
A slight positive may be found in that for the second month running, we have a number of Economy Class deals for travel to/from the United States, but with Flying Blue adding surcharges to award bookings, you’ll have to be careful to make sure that cash fares aren’t more economical.
