Following on from the Air France/KLM offer we wrote about a little earlier, we have a second useful travel offer from Amex that has appeared today. This deal is for Hilton properties in Las Vegas and it’s offering a saving of $90 on select stays that are paid for by 31 July 2024.

Quick thoughts

An offer of a $90 rebate on $400 of spending may not be enough to trigger anyone into booking a trip they weren’t already planning, but given that Las Vegas prices seem to be staying stubbornly high (at least on weekends), it’s a rebate that will come in useful for anyone with a pressing need to visit Sin City.

Like the Air France/KLM offer that was also released today, this offer seems to be widely targeted as not only is it showing on all my Membership Rewards cards, but it’s also showing on on the card_name.

Holders of the card_name (review) and the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card should check those cards first as those will be the cards that are likely to give them the best return on any Hilton spending given that they offer 12 points/dollar and 14 points/dollar on Hilton spending respectively (terms apply).

Bottom line

American Express is currently targeting cardholders for a saving of $90 at Hilton properties in Las Vegas. For those for whom Hilton is their primary hotel chain and who are looking to visit Vegas in the coming months, this offer should be easy to trigger and should go well with the current global promotion.
