Accor, the hotel group that includes well-known brands such as Fairmont, Sofitel, and SLS, is running a new sale in which it’s offering customers up to 30% off stays made through the end of June next year. On Friday and Friday only, Rakuten was offering a very welcome 11% cash back on most IHG bookings, and for anyone who missed out on that deal, TopCashback was on hand to help out on Saturday and Sunday with a 10% cash back offer.
Now, while Rakuten has reverted to offering just 3% cash back, TopCashBack has boosted its offer to an excellent 15% back on bookings at select brands, and as I have no idea how long this boosted offer will be available, anyone with plans to make any IHG bookings should probably so so now.

Save up to 30% with the Radisson Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales
Both Radisson Rewards Americas and Radisson Rewards (which covers the rest of the Radisson portfolio) are running Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales in which they're offering up to 30% off on stays made through the end of 2022. Be aware, however, that the Americas sale covers all nights of the week while the sale for properties in the rest of the world only covers weekends, so the sales are definitely not the same.
British Airways UK Black Friday Deals: £282 fares to the US & more
British Airways has released details of its attempt at a Black Friday sale and to say that it's underwhelming would be an understatement. The airline is offering a limited number of roundtrip fares to the US East Coast from just £282 (which, admittedly, isn't too bad), there are one or two interesting Business Class deals (which aren't officially part of the Black Friday sale) and a few savings on holiday bookings. That's pretty much it.
Qatar Airways Business Class USA – South Africa from $2,766 roundtrip [October 2022 onwards]
While this isn't published as a Black Friday deal, Qatar Airways appears to be offering a few good/reasonable Business Class fares for travel between the United States and South Africa for October onwards next year. The best deals are to be found for travel originating on the East Coast, but there are a couple of reasonable fares available from other areas too.
Finnair Europe Black Friday Sale: Great Business Class fares to Asia & USA
Finnair has launched its Black Friday sale and in contrast to a lot of the other airline sales that we've been seeing, this one is definitely worth a closer look. Great deals are available out of at least five European counties (including the UK) and while most of the good Business Class fares center around a handful of cities in Asia, there are good fares available on two of Finnair's new USA routes too.
Rakuten Black Friday: 12% back or 12 Membership Rewards Points/Dollar
Rakuten's Black Friday offers are now live and the portal is offering at least 12% cash back or 12 Amex Membership Rewards Points per dollar spent at over 700 stores (some stores are offering more). This promotion will run through 29 November (Cyber Monday) so with the stores included in this promotion also offering their own Black Friday deals and with Rakuten currently offering its best-ever referral bonus, this is a great time to stack savings and to snap up some bargains.
Save $100 in Lufthansa’s USA Black Friday deal (includes United Airlines codeshares)
We've seen a number of airlines unveil some form of savings or discount in honor of Black Friday but I can't say that any that I've seen have been particularly exciting so far. Sadly, things don't get much more exciting with Lufthansa's Black Friday promotion in which a promo code will get you $100 off most fares. Fortunately, the fact that codeshare flights are eligible for the discount will make this a more useful promotion than it otherwise may have been.
Get a 50% discount on United Airlines miles (ends Friday)
United MileagePlus has launched a new flash sale ahead of Black Friday in which it's offering a discount on the cost of miles rather than a bonus. The discount being offered is 50% and while this reduces the cost/mile to levels that may tempt quite a few people, you should think carefully about how many miles you'd like to buy before participating in this sale.
Air France UK offer: Save £50 on your next flight (includes codeshares)
Air France has just launched a limited-time offer on bookings for departures out of five UK airports. The offer comes with a minimum spend requirement and isn't valid for travel to the United States but it can still be a very nice money saver at a time when fares are anything but cheap.
Odd: Disappearing Delta Amex offer has reappeared [Targeted]
Back in the middle of October, I wrote about a great deal that Amex had targeted to select cardholders in which they could earn $125 on just $300 of spending with Delta. Despite writing about this offer, I somehow forgot to add it to any of my targeted cards (not a proud moment) and when I finally remembered to do so, the offer had disappeared. Today, the offer is back, so if you missed out the first time around check your accounts because you may have been given an unexpected second chance.
Double points with Choice hotels through the end of the year
Choice Hotels, one of the newer transfer partners for the Citi ThankYou program, has launched a new promotion in which it's offering members of its free-to-join Privileges loyalty program, double points on stays taken through 31 December 2021.
SALE: Up to 40% off Accor properties in North America
Accor, the hotel group that includes well-known brands such as Fairmont, Sofitel, and SLS, has launched a new sale in which it's offering customers up to 40% off stays made through the end of March next year as well as triple points on all stays. The headline discount is 30%, but members of Accor's free-to-join loyalty program (ALL) get a further 10% off.

Alaska Airlines has launched a new mileage sale that runs through most of December and which is offering a solid bonus of up to 50%. Ostensibly this is a perfectly good sale, but while I'll provide you with all the details you need about it in the post below, be aware that I think that this is a sale that most people should be avoiding for at least the next 10 days.
DEALS: Great Business Class fares from Dublin to North America (oneworld/Star Alliance)
Right now, airlines from the oneworld alliance and the Star Alliance are offering some very nice Business Class deals for departures out of Dublin. If you're prepared to take an overnight stop in Lisbon, you'll find roundtrip deals for under $1,300 and if you'd like to get to your destination a lot sooner, you should find that you don't have to go over $1,700 to book roundtrip travel to a wide variety of cities in Noth America.

Deal: Save up to 15% at Hyatt properties worldwide (discounts valid on member rates)
Hyatt has launched a new sale in which it's offering up to 15% off rates at over 850 of its properties around the world and while the headline discount doesn't sound particularly impressive, the fact that it's is being offered on the already discounted rates that World of Hyatt members are given and not just on the standard rates, means that there could be some good savings to be had.
