Chase is currently targeting select card holders for a saving on a future Air Canada booking and the good news is that the booking window is, by Chase’s standards, relatively generous (you don’t have to book by tomorrow!).
The offer
Get $100 statement credit back when you spend $1000 or more directly at Air Canada in a single transaction.
- Qualifying transaction must be made during the offer period of 7/20/2026 to 9/18/2026.
- A minimum spend of $1000 must be met in a single transaction, including taxes and after discounts, on your eligible card; multiple transactions totaling $1,000 do not qualify.
- Offer valid one time only.
- Offer available in store and online.
- Offer only valid on purchase made directly with Air Canada.
- Offer not valid on purchase made using third-party services, delivery services, gift cards, or third-party payment accounts (e.g., buy now pay later).
- If purchase is made using a combination of cash and points, at least $1000 of the purchase must be transacted with an eligible card to qualify.
You’ll find all the terms and conditions on your targeted offer.
Quick thoughts
Ok, yes, $100 isn’t exactly a huge amount to save on at least $1,000 of spending, so I’m not going to try to claim that this is an amazing offer to have been targeted for.
What I am going to claim is that if you were planning on booking a fare with Air Canada anyway, this is a nice added bonus to have been offered (if you’ve been targeted).
My cards that have been targeted are as follows:
- Chase Sapphire Preferred® credit card
- Legacy IHG Select credit card (I’m a little surprised by this as this cad never gets targeted for anything useful!)
- Legacy Ink Business Plus® Card
I would have like to have seen this targeted to my Ink Business Preferred® credit card (which would earn me 3 points/dollar on Air Canada spending – terms apply), but I’m happy to have the offer on multiple cards as I may be able to use this offer more than once (Chase offers aren’t limited to 1 per card holder like Amex offers are).
Hopefully a few readers will be seeing this offer on their cards (with a bit of luck this will appear on some Chase Aeroplan® cards) and the key thing to remember here is that you don’t have to fly by 18 September. You just have to use your targeted card to make a single payment of $1,000 or more to Air Canada by that date.
That opens up the option to trigger this offer on travel deep into next year ad that should make this offer relatively easy to use.
Bottom line
If you have plans to book a flight with Air Canada between now and the middle of September now would be a good time to check your Chase offers as you may find that you have been targeted for an offer that will allow you to save $100 on your booking of at least $1,000.
