Chase is launching new spending bonuses for Q3 2026 [Targeted]

TravelingForMiles.com may receive commission from card issuers. TravelingForMiles.com does not include all card companies or all available card offers.
In the past few years, Chase has, from time to time, offered a variety of quarterly targeted spending bonuses across its co-branded card portfolio and while the frequency of these bonus has definitely gone down, it looks like Chase is targeting select cardholders for new bonuses in Q3 2026.

In the past few years, Chase has, from time to time, offered a variety of quarterly targeted spending bonuses across its co-branded card portfolio and while the frequency of these bonus has definitely gone down, it looks like Chase is targeting select cardholders for new bonuses in Q3 2026.

New Chase spending bonuses

This is the only bonus that I can see across my Chase co-branded collection and it has been targeted to the Ritz-Carlton™ credit card (which is no longer open to new applicants).

My targeted offer on the Ritz-Carlton™ credit card.

For those who, for whatever reason, can’t see the image, the promotion is this:

Earn 5x total points on up to $1,000 spent at grocery stores, gas stations and restaurants. Offer valid July 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026.

Coincidentally, this is almost exactly the same promotion as I was targeted for in Q3 2023. The only difference between the two promotion is that three years ago, Chase wasn’t as miserly as it is now, so it was offering the bonus on $1,500 of spending and not just $1,000.

Historically, there have been quite a few other such bonuses (often covering different spending categories) for a variety of Chase co-branded cards but not Chase’s standalone cards (e.g. the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card), so if you hold any co-branded cards (e.g. the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Premier Credit Card or the United Club℠ Infinite Card), make sure that you check to see if you’re being targeted.

Checking for bonuses

If you want to see if Chase has targeted you for any bonuses, you should head over to Chase.com/mybonus, enter your name, your zip code, and the last 4 digits of your Chase credit card and the site will show you if that card has been targeted for a bonus offer. If you’re out of luck, try another card!

Note: Cards that are not open to new applicants (like the legacy IHG Rewards credit card) are also eligible to be targeted for these bonuses (as my offer on the Ritz-Carlton card proves).

Key terms

The specific wording may differ a little from card to card, but the key terms that have been applied to the promotions that I can see look like this:

  • Purchases are when you, or an authorized user, use a card to make purchases of products and services. However, the following types of transactions won’t count as purchases:
    • balance transfers, cash advances, cash-like transactions including, but not limited to: travelers checks, foreign currency, money orders, wire transfers, cryptocurrency, other similar digital or virtual currency and other similar transactions; lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers, or similar offline and online betting transactions; person-to-person money transfers and account funding transactions that transfer currency, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable.
  • Earning rates shown for this offer include any rewards you would earn through your rewards program and are not additional. For example, if you earn 2X in a category through your rewards program and the offer states 5X in that same category, you will earn 2X plus 3X for a total of 5X through the offer, not 7X.
  • Purchases that would qualify for this offer but would earn at the same or higher rate through your rewards program will be excluded from the offer, and you will earn on them as you normally would through your rewards program.
  • Purchases must post to your account with a transaction date during the offer period to qualify. Delays by a merchant could extend the transaction date beyond the offer period.
  • Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for bonus rewards to post to your account.

Full terms and conditions can be found on your promotion page (assuming that you have been targeted).

Bottom line

If you hold a Chase co-branded credit card, there’s a chance that you’ve been targeted for a Q3 spending bonus, so head over to Chase.com/mybonus to see what (if anything) is waiting for you.

If you’re fortunate enough to find bonus offers linked to one or more of your cards, don’t forget to compare the value of what you’re being offered to the value you can get from the other cards in your portfolio as the 3Q bonuses may not be the best deals open to you.

Have you been targeted for a Chase 3Q spending bonus offer?
