Chase has launched another one of its targeted Hyatt offers and this time around it's an offer that I don't think we've seen before. This one covers stays at a variety of Hyatt's all-inclusive resort brands which, together, Hyatt calls its Inclusive Collection.

Quick thoughts

The first this to note is which of Hyatt’s many brands now sit within its Inclusive Collection. These are them:

  • Alua Hotels & Resorts
  • Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts
  • Dreams Resorts & Spas
  • Hyatt Vivid Hotels & Resorts
  • Hyatt Zilara
  • Hyatt Ziva
  • Secrets Resorts & Spas
  • Sunscape Resorts & Spas
  • Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts

On the face of things, $1,000 can seem like a big spending hurdle to clear, but after having looked through the resorts that are included (and keeping in mind that these are all-inclusive resorts), I doubt this will be an issue – a three night stay should be enough to trigger this offer at most of the resorts and a four night stay should do it at all.

Hopefully, you’ll have this offer targeted to your World of Hyatt credit card or your World of Hyatt Business credit card (both of which will earn you 4 World of Hyatt points/dollar on all Hyatt spending), but failing that, having it targeted to any of the following cards should still see you do ok:

  • Chase Sapphire Reserve® Cardreview (4 Ultimate Rewards Points/dollar)
  • Chase Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card (3 Ultimate Rewards Points/dollar)*
  • Chase Sapphire Preferred® Credit Cardreview (2 Ultimate Rewards Points/dollar)

*This card earns 3 points/dollar on the first $150,000 spent in combined purchases on travel, shipping purchases, Internet, cable, and phone services, and on advertising purchases made with social media sites and search engines each account anniversary year.

Don’t forget that the rebates offered here are capped so you only need to spend $1,000 to max out your potential earnings (each time you pay, up to two times).

What this means is that if you haven’t had this offer targeted to one of the World of Hyatt credit cards and you’re spending considerably more than $2,000, you should charge the first and the second $1,000 transactions to your preferred targeted card, and then the rest to whatever other card gives you the very best return on your spending (probably your World of Hyatt card). The resort should have no issues splitting your bill.

Lastly, don’t make the mistake of thinking that you can stack this deal with the frequently seen Chase Travel $100 offer or the Edit credits that the Chase Sapphire Reserve® Card gives cardholders (assuming any of these resorts appear on the Edit list).

This deal requires booking directly with Hyatt and both of these options would see you booking through Chase Travel so the 2 x $100 credits would not be triggered.

Bottom line

Chase is targeting holders of various cards (both personal and business as far as we can tell) with an offer for up to two rebates on spending made directly with Hyatt for Inclusive Collection bookings that are paid for by 31 August 2026.
