Flying Blue has released its Promo Awards for August 2025 which cover travel through 31 January 2026 and as usual, you can now book select Air France and KLM awards with a 25% discount.
This month, things are looking better then they have in a while. There are a good number of Economy Class deals to destinations around or below the Equator (good for escaping the northern hemisphere winter, there are a good number of transatlantic Economy Class deals (good for visiting Europe) and we’re finally seeing some transatlantic premium cabin deals appear with Premium Economy awards starting at just 30,000 miles one-way and Business Class awards starting at just 45,000 miles one-way (+ taxes and surcharges).
Compared to the other Flying Blue Promo Awards that we’ve seen this year, this set actually looks interesting, and given that iot covers travel across the winter holidays, that’s good news.

Bottom line
Flying Blue has released details of its August 2025 Promo Awards which cover travel through 31 January 2025 and which must be booked by 31 August 2025.
This month we’re finally getting some Promo Awards that are worth investigating with Business Class awards between Canada and Europe starting at 45,000 miles (+ taxes and fees), Premium Economy awards between the US and Europe starting from 30,000 miles (+ taxes and fees), and Economy Class awards to quite a few popular destinations starting from 18,750 miles (+ taxes and fees).
Keep in mind that if you’re not seeing any great deals from your prefered starting point, you can always take a cheap positioning flight to start your journey from a city where deals are available.
Likewise, if your preferred destination isn’t on this month’s list, try looking for good value awards to a city that’s relatively close to where you want to visit and combine that with a cheap cash flight to your chosen destination (e.g. if you want to fly from Europe to Los Angeles, try booking an award to Phoenix and then booking a cheap cash fare from Phoneix to LA).
Let us know in the comments if you find any great deals – happy hunting!
Might want to correct the flight completion date from January 2025.
Good spot! Corrected, thanks.
