It’s the middle of the month and that means that another set of KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes deals has been published by Singapore Airlines in which its offering the usual discount of 30% on select award bookings made by the end of the month. Unfortunately, this month the selection is almost as appalling as it was last month.
Headline terms & conditions
- Book by 30 June 2026 (23:59 hrs Local Time).
- Travel between 1 and 31 July 2026 (blackout dates may apply).
- Get a 30% discount on select award bookings.
- One-way and round-trip awards are permissible.
- Taxes and fees will be charged.

Keep in mind
The Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer program is a transfer partner for all four major transferable currencies (from Chase, Citi, Amex, and Capital One), so if any of the deals that you see below would work well for you but you don’t have a healthy KrisFlyer balance, you should be able to top up your KrisFlyer account from one or more sources.

Business Class deals
Southeast Asia Routes:
In this set of Spontaneous Escapes, there are ten Business Class deals on offer for travel within Southeast Asia and that’s more or less the number that we usually see. That’s the good news. The bad news is that once again, a few of these routes seem to have a large number of blackout dates and three of the routes are only offering deals for travel in one direction.

Unlike last month, we actually have some North Asia routes among this month’s Spontaneous Escapes, so that’s good. What’s less good is that that there are only four routes on which Business Class deals are being offered.

There were no Business Class Spontaneous Escapes deals that touched the Southwest Pacific last month, so I guess we should be grateful that we have one deal this time around … albeit a one-way deal:
Cairns to Singapore is available for 50,400 miles.
European Routes:
There are no Business Class Spontaneous Escapes deal that touch Europe this month.
USA & Canada Routes:
There are no Business Class Spontaneous Escapes deal that touch anywhere in North America this month.
Premium Economy deals
North Asia Routes:
There are three Premium Economy Class deals for travel within this region (the exact same three routes as were available last month), but, this time there don’t seem to be any blackout dates which, frankly, is a minor miracle.

West Asia & Africa Routes:
There were no Premium Economy Spontaneous Escapes deals for West Asia and Africa last month, but a single one-way deal has appeared this month with, incredibly, 15 blackout dates:
Singapore to Johannesburg is available for 36,050 miles*.
Southwest Pacific Routes:
There are no Premium Economy Class deals for travel within this region this month.
European Routes:
Europe was another region that didn’t have any Premium Economy Class deals last month and like the West Asia/Africa region, it gets one deal this month. Again, unfortunately, it’s for one-way travel only:
Singapore to Frankfurt is available for 36,050 miles.
USA & Canada Routes:
There are no Premium Economy Class deals for travel within this region this month.
Bottom line
As usual, how these deals are viewed will vary from person to person (depending on people’s travel plans), but for most people, this will probably just another dismal set of Singapore Airlines Spontaneous escapes.
There are no Business Class deals that include Europe, the United States or Canada, the Southwest pacific gets one Business Class deal for one-way travel only, and in total, there are only 18 routes on which Business Class deals are being offered and five of those are for one-way travel only.
Things are, worse if you’re looking for Premium Economy deals.
There are no Premium Economy deals involving the Southwest Pacific, the United States or Canada, West Africa/Asia and Europe get one deal each (both for one-way travel only) and there are only routes (in total) on which deals are available.
When will KrisFlyer rename these deals “Spontaneous Disappointments”?

- The KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes promotion (“Promotion”) is organised by Singapore Airlines Limited (“SIA”). The promotion is open to KrisFlyer members (“Participants”) for the online redemption of Promo Awards in Economy, Premium Economy and Business Class on selected Singapore Airlines operated flights. Please refer to the list of eligible flights above. The promotion is not valid for codeshare flights.
- Eligible bookings can only be made through singaporeair.com or the SingaporeAir mobile app. This promotion is not available through KrisFlyer Membership Services, SIA Ticket Offices, travel agents, or any other channels.
- To qualify for 30% off Saver award fares offer, tickets must be issued between 15 June 2026 (0000 hrs, Local Time) and 30 June 2026 (2359 hrs, Local Time) (“Promotion Period”), both dates inclusive, for travel from 1 July 2026 (0000 hrs, Local Time) to 31 July 2026 (2359 hrs, Local Time) for all destinations.
- This Promo awards must be ticketed immediately within the same booking session. Fare and seat availability will not be guaranteed otherwise.
- If (i) any part of the itinerary is confirmed after the Promotion Period; (ii) or falls outside the applicable Travel Period; and/or (iii) contains an ineligible flight, the entire itinerary will not be eligible for the promotion. Please split your bookings for travel within and outside the promotional travel period.
- Waitlist redemption is not available for all flights offered in this Promotion.
