Four Marriott Bonvoy promotions for summer 2026

Decent hotel promotions are very thin on the ground right now with IHG (here) and Hilton (here) offering global promotions weaker than a politician’s moral compass and with Marriott and Hyatt seemingly uninterested in offering any kind of global promotion at all.

Nevertheless, there are a few promotions worth knowing about still out there and despite its apparent reluctance to give us a big global deal, Marriott Bonvoy is currently running four promotions Bonvoy members should know about which will run through the end of the northern hemisphere summer.

Here they are:

USA & Canada – Earn 2,000 bonus points/day at 3 brands

Earn 2,000 bonus points per day when you book this offer at participating AC, Courtyard by Marriott, Fairfield by Marriott and Four Points by Sheraton hotels.

• Offer valid at participating AC Hotels, Courtyard by Marriott and Four Points by Sheraton Hotels only.
• This offer is valid for stays through 7 September 2026.
• There are a limited number of rooms available for this promotion.
• Guests must book reservation using promotional code 53M in order to receive bonus points.
• Offer applies to one regular room per paid night, per member on dates listed.
• There is no maximum number of bonus points which can be earned during the promotion period.
• Offer not available during special events; tax is additional; special offers cannot be combined; blackout dates may exist; advance reservations are required.
• Offer does not apply to groups of 10 or more rooms.
• Members electing to earn miles are not eligible for this promotion.

This promotion has been running for some time, but as its valid at over 1,300 properties (according to the promotion page) and as it’s valid through 7 September, we think it’s worth mentioning in case any readers have plans to book a participating property in the coming months.

At TFM, we value Marriott Bonvoy points at 0.6 cents each (based on the value we know we can get out of them without much effort) and that values the bonus points on offer at $12 … which probably doesn’t sound like much. But when you consider that this is on offer for every night of a stay and that the participating brands are full of some of Marriott’s cheaper US properties, this deal begins to look interesting.

Note: Although the promotion’s terms don’t mention this, all the participating properties are either in the US or Canada so don’t expect to be able to use this deal elsewhere.

Mostly USA & Canada – 3,000 bonus points/stay at participating properties

Marriott Bonvoy members earn 3,000 bonus points per stay at participating properties. Beach days, city adventures, weekend getaways poolside – every stay earns more.

• There are a limited number of rooms available for this promotion.
• This offer is valid for stays through 8 September 2026.
• Guest must book reservation using promotional code S2449 in order to receive bonus points.
• Offer applies to one regular room per stay, per member on dates listed.
• A “hotel stay” or “stay” means all consecutive nights spent with Marriott by a registered Marriott Bonvoy member.
• Offer not available during special events; tax is additional; special offers cannot be combined; blackout dates may exist; advance reservations are required.
• Offer does not apply to groups of 10 or more rooms.
• Members electing to earn miles are not eligible for this promotion.

This is an interesting promotion because it appears to apply to most Marriott Bonvoy brands, it includes over 2,100 properties, and because, although just about every participating property is either in the US or in Canada, for some reason the promotion also includes a property in French Polynesia (The Westin Bora Bora Resort & Spa), a property in Guyana (AC Hotel Georgetown Guyana) and a property in Mexico (Bloom Tulum, Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy) and that’s more than a little odd. What’s special about these three properties that gets them included in this deal?

Anyway, moving on …

3,000 bonus points per stay isn’t exactly something to get excited about (especially as we value those points at just $18), but it’s better than nothing and if you’re booking a qualifying stay anyway, you may as well earn whatever bonus is on offer.

Be careful, however.

There’s some overlap with the AC/Courtyard/Four Points promotion mentioned earlier (you’ll find that a lot of the AC/Courtyard/Four Points properties in the US and Canada are participating in both promotions) and the terms and conditions suggest that the two promotions will not stack.

What this means is that if you’re booking a single night at a property which is participating in bth promotion, you should book using promotion code S2449 and earn 3,000 bonus points.

If you’re staying for 2 nights or more, book using promotion code 53M and earn 4,000 bonus points or more.

Europe, Middle East & Africa – Earn 10,000 points per stay at luxury brands

Earn 10,000 points per stay when you stay at select properties from Marriott’s portfolio of luxury brands, including The Ritz‑Carlton, St. Regis, EDITION, The Luxury Collection, W Hotels, and JW Marriott (link)

• Offer valid for new reservations 7 days a week at participating Marriott hotels across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
• Book by 31 August 2026
• Stay between 15 June and 7 September 2026
• Marriott Bonvoy Members earn 10,000 bonus points per stay at the following hotel brands: EDITION – JW Marriott – The Luxury Collection – The Ritz-Carlton – St. Regis – W Hotels.
• Offer is only valid on a selection of room type(s) defined at each property
• Offer applies to one room per stay, per member, based on a minimum 2-night stay.
• A “hotel stay” or “stay” means all consecutive nights spent with Marriott by a registered Marriott Bonvoy Member.
• Reservation before arrival is required, a limited number of rooms may be available, blackout dates and other restrictions may apply.
• Rates do not apply to groups of 10 or more rooms.

The promotion page show that there are 123 properties participating in this deal and that’s not bad considering only luxury properties are included (Marriott’s definition of luxury may differ from yours).

There are three things to keep in mind here:

1. Only stays of 2-nights or more will trigger the bonus points
2. You’ll need to use code S2449 (same code as for the US/Canada deal mentioned above) to book the deal.
3. Only some room-types at each property will trigger the bonus (fortunately the less expensive rooms appear to be included) so make sure you’re careful when choosing your room.

To us, 10,000 points is worth $60 and that size of effective rebate on a stay that likely to cost well over 10x that isn’t big enough to have us rushing to make a new booking.

In the absence of any other more valuable Marriott bonus points promotion, however, this will have to do and if you were already planning a stay in Europe, the Middle East or Africa before 7 September 2026, this will probably be a nice added bonus.

Europe, Middle East & Africa – Earn up to 5,000 bonus points per stay (select properties)

Earn 1,000, 2,000, or 5,000 bonus Bonvoy points at select newly opened properties.

• Offer valid for new reservations 7 days a week at participating Marriott hotels across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
• Book by 31 August 2026
• Stay between 15 June and 7 September 2026
• Marriott Bonvoy Members may earn up to 5,000 bonus points depending on the brand they stay at.
  • 1,000 points per stay at Element Hotels, Residence Inn, Marriott Executive Apartments, Protea Hotels, Four Points Flex by Sheraton, Apartments by Marriott.
  • 2,000 points per stay at AC Hotels by Marriott, Aloft Hotels, Courtyard by Marriott, Fairfield Inn, Four Points by Sheraton, Moxy Hotels, citizenM.
  • 5,000 points per stay at Autograph Collection, Delta Hotels, Le Meridien, Marriott Hotels, Renaissance Hotels, Sheraton, Tribute Portfolio, Westin.
• Offer is only valid on a selection of room type(s) defined at each property
• Offer applies to one room per stay, per member, based on a minimum 2-night stay.

The promotion page show that there are 676 properties participating in this deal and that’s impressive given that this is, apparently, a promotion restricted to “newly opened” properties (it makes me wonder what Marriott’s definition of a newly opened property is).

Anyway, just as is the case with the other Europe/ME/Africa promotion, there are three things to keep in mind here:

1. Only stays of 2-nights or more will trigger the bonus points
2. You’ll need to use code S2449 when you book.
3. Only some room-types at each property will trigger the bonus (again, we’re lucky in that the less expensive rooms appear to be included) so make sure you’re careful when choosing your room.

Once again, we’re not going to tell you that these are great deals (clearly, they’re not), but an effective rebate of up to $30 (our valuation) on a stay at a cheaper property isn’t terrible (even though it’s diluted by the need for a 2-night stay).

Bottom line

Marriott may not be running a global promotion right now but there are still at least four promotions which are currently running that you should probably know about. Two are focused on the US and Canada and two are focused on Europe, the Middle East, and Africa so if you were hoping for a deal covering Asia and/or Oceania, you’re out of luck.

Still, this lot are better than nothing and one or two may be of use to anyone currently planning a trip for this summer.
