Amex tells us that Resy has added Tock’s restaurants, wineries, and experiences into its platform and app, and that takes the combined total of bookable venues on Resy to over 25,000.
This means that a large number of restaurants that could previously only be booked through Tock are now bookable through Resy.
The change is live now, but more importantly for anyone holding an Amex card that carries a Resy statement credit, that credit is being extended to Tock venues in a few weeks’ time.
The venues
The Tock addition brings a number of Michelin-starred restaurants onto the Resy platform, and the Amex press release names four of them:
- Atomix in New York City
- Lazy Bear in San Francisco
- Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Westchester County
- Smyth in Chicago
Amex also names four wineries among the additions:
- Scribe Winery in Sonoma
- Heitz Cellar in Napa Valley
- Ridge Vineyards in Healdsburg
- Sandhi Wines in Santa Barbara County
None of this is a surprise given the ownership. American Express, which has owned Resy since 2019, agreed to buy Tock from Squarespace for $400 million in June 2024 and completed that purchase the following October, at which point Tock had roughly 7,000 restaurants, wineries, and other bookable venues on its books.
Wineries on Resy
Resy users can now find nearly 1,200 wineries on the platform, covering tasting rooms and vineyard experiences alongside restaurant reservations.
Later this year Resy will add a dedicated editorial hub at resy.com/wineries, with coverage of Napa Valley, Sonoma, the Willamette Valley, and other wine destinations. Resy’s Managing Editor, Jon Bonné, says the goal is “to help shape the full wine country experience“, so hotels and local recommendations as well as the tasting rooms themselves.
American Express says its US Card Members spent over $250 million at US wineries in 2025, and positions the winery push as a complement to Fine Hotels + Resorts and The Hotel Collection, both of which already cover properties in wine regions.
The Resy credit
This is the important bit. From 15 September 2026, eligible purchases made on Tock and at hundreds of Tock venues in the United States will count toward the American Express Resy credit, and Amex says that more Tock restaurants will become eligible over the following months, so the initial list of participating venues will not be the final one.
Where a venue is eligible, that will be noted on the venue’s page (see image below).
At the time of writing, these are the cards that offer a Resy credit:
- The Platinum Card® from American Express – $100/quarter
- The American Express® Gold Card – $50 January to June & $50 July to December
- Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card – Up to $20/month
- Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card – Up to $20/month
- Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express Card – Up to $10/month
- Delta SkyMiles® Platinum Business American Express Card – Up to $10/month

Quick thoughts
Mostly this is good news because having thousands more venues at which the various Amex Resy credits can be used will be a real boost to card holders, especially to those who, up until now, have struggled to get the most out of their credits due to a lack of Resy locations in their area.
I say that this is “mostly” good news, because I had held out hope that Amex may extend the credits to cover all Tock venues and not just venues in the United States. That doesn’t appear to be happening (the press release is very careful to specify that only Tock venues in the US will trigger the Amex credits), and that suggests that even if Amex integrates The Fork into Resy, card holders will still not get to use their credits outside of the US.
That’s a shame.
Bottom line
If you head over to Resy right now, you’ll see that a large number of restaurants and wineries that were previously only bookable through Tock can now be booked through Resy.
More importantly, from 15 September 2026, Amex will start allowing eligible card holders to use their Resy credits at select Tock venues with more venues being added in the coming months.
Unfortunately, despite Tock’s presence in multiple countries around the world, these venues don’t appear to be being added to Resy, so the Resy credits’ usage will continue to be limited to establishments in the US only.
