Now live: Chase Freedom 4Q 2024 bonus categories
The Chase Freedom 4Q bonus categories for 2024 have now been revealed and as of 15 September, registration is open. The categories for this quarter are mostly dull and uninspiring, but there’s one option which should allow holders of Chase Freedom/Chase Freedom Flex® credit cards maximize their earnings this quarter.
Earn 17,500 bonus Amex points with select ITA Airways bookings [Targeted]
American Express has launched a new targeted offer which gives select cardholders the opportunity to earn 17,500 Membership Rewards points when booking through ITA Airways in the next ~11 weeks. If you value Amex points at a similar price point to us, that represents a potentially excellent rebate.
Save on Enterprise Rent-a-Car spending with this targeted Amex offer
We’re seeing Amex publish a few new targeted offers right now, and alongside the ITA Airways offer mentioned above, there’s also an offer that could earn you up to 25% back on a Enterprise Rent-a-Car booking completed by the end of the year.
50% bonus on Chase transfers to Marriott (this may have its uses)
Chase has launched another promotion in which its offering a bonus to cardholders who convert Ultimate Rewards points to Marriott Bonvoy points by the middle of November. The last time we saw such a promotion (August) there was a 70% bonus on the table, so as this promotion has the bonus set at just 50%, this is a transfer off to pass on unless what is discussed below applies to you.
Earn 5,000 bonus Amex points with National Car Rental [Targeted]
American Express is targeting cardholders with a new offer for bonus points on spending with National Car rental made through the end of the year (this is the second rental car offer we’ve seen Amex publish this week). The offer applies to reservations made at locations within the United States (and US Territories) and requires that reservations are made at least 24 hours in advance.
Save up to 15% on EVA Air bookings with this targeted offer
Following on from the offer for ITA Airways spending that we mentioned earlier, Amex is back with another airline offer, and this time it’s for Taiwan’s EVA Air. The offer appears to be widely available, so if you’re making plans head to Asia between now and next November and are happy to pay before the end of the year, this could be an easy way to save a little cash.
Targeted: Earn 175,000 bonus points with the American Express® Business Gold Card
Over recent months, American Express has loosened the purse strings and become noticeably more generous with some of the welcome offers that we have been seeing. The standard offers haven’t always been very generous, but the targeted offers that we’ve been seeing have been great, and there’s now an excellent targeted offer for the American Express® Business Gold Card.
The IHG Europe/Asia/Oceania Autumn sale is now live (up to 25% off)
The IHG Autumn/Fall sale for bookings at the chain’s properties in Europe and very select properties in Asia, the Maldives, Australia, and French Polynesia, is now live and runs through to 4 October for stays through March 2025.
Save up to $57 on your next Sheraton stay [limited time targeted offer]
Over the past couple of weeks, Chase has been drip feeding cardholders limited-time offers for stays at various Marriott brands and the latest brand to appear on our online offers page is Sheraton. This takes the number of active Chase offers for stays at Marriott properties to six, although some only have a few more days left to run.
Save $300 on select Marriott Homes & Villas bookings [Targeted]
American Express has launched a new targeted offer for Marriott Homes & Villas stays. The offer covers payments made through 17 December 2024 and because the spending needed to trigger the rebate doesn’t have to be made in a single transaction, this rebate may be easier to earn than first looks suggest.
Save on stays with Amex and Preferred Hotels & Resorts [Targeted]
Not to be confused with the bonus points offer for stays at Leading Hotels of the World which launched over a week ago, Amex is now targeting select cardholders for a saving on spending made with Preferred Hotels & Resorts across several regions of the world.
Get $75 back on select stays with Radisson in the Americas
Amex has started targeting select cardholders for a statement credit in return for spending made at Radisson properties in the Americas. Most of the properties at which this offer is valid appear to be in the US and Canada, but you’ll also find a few participating locations in Central and South America as well as one or two in the Caribbean.
Now live: The last big IHG promotion of 2024
After a few fallow months, IHG finally unveiled a new global promotion a week and half ago, and it’s now live and valid on bookings though the end of the year. Like quite a few recent promotions that we’ve seen, this one isn’t going to get many pulses racing, but if there’s any chance that you’re going to be booking with IHG anyway, you should register now and pick up a few bonus points along the way.
Save up to $150 on select Expedia hotel bookings [Targeted Offer]
American Express is now targeting select cardholders for a 15% statement credit (capped at $150) when they book and prepay a hotel stay by the middle of December. At first glance, a 15% saving with no minimum spend criteria looks appealing, but make sure you read this article fully before you rush of to book as there are a few key things to keep in mind.
Stack two points promotions + a 10% cash back deal on your next IHG stay (select brands)
The latest IHG global promotion has had quite a lot of publicity, so you probably already know that you can earn 3,000 bonus points for every 2 nights that you stay at IHG properties by the end of the year.
But did you know that for select IHG brands, you should now be able to stack the global promotion with a second (less well-known) promotion and a cash back deal to really maximize your earnings and savings?
