IHG Iberostar sale – save up to 40% at select resorts & get up to $800 in resort credits

IHG has launched a new sale for select Iberostar resort properties in Europe, North Africa, the Caribbean and the Americas with the savings varying by region and going as high as 40%.

Europe/North Africa Iberostar sale

Save up to 30% on stays which are booked by 31 May 2026 and which are taken by 31 January 2027.

Valid at select properties in Spain, Portugal, Morocco, and Tunisia.

Quick thoughts

The first thing to note is that there doesn’t seem to be much information surrounding the resort credits which are on offer at select properties in the Caribbean – all that the relevant IHG sale page tells us it that guests can be given “up to $800” in credits, that the value of the credits will vary depending on the length of the stay and the resort chosen and that the credits should be requested upon arrival.

That’s not really enough information, so I suggest that anyone contemplating booking a participating property in this sale doesn’t allow the resort credits to be a deciding factor – treat whatever resort credits you get as a bonus and base your decision (to book or not to book) on the cost of the room/suite being offered.

The second thing to note is that the savings for the Americas/Caribbean deal are only being offered through September 2026 while the European/North Africa savings are available through January 2027, so don’t make the mistake of thinking that both promotions are running for the same length of time.

Lastly, keep in mind that the small print says that the stay dates may vary by property, so make sure you’re definitely getting a sale price booking before you hand over your credit card details.

Bottom line

If you’re considering a resort booking in the coming months, IHG’s Iberostar properties may be worth your consideration while they’re offering discounts of up to 40% in the Americas and the Caribbean and up to 30% in Europe and North Africa.
