The Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill is my go-to property in central London and on my last visit I decided to take a couple of videos showing what the property offers. The first video in this post is of a Hyatt Regency Executive suite that I was upgraded into and the second is of the part-reopened Regency Lounge on the property’s 8th floor.

I’m a big fan of the Hyatt Regency in London. I like its location, I like the property, I like the staff and I really like the great treatment that I get there as a Hyatt Globalist member. I have yet to use a suite upgrade award at this property but out of the three times that I’ve stayed at the Churchill since I earned my Globalist status, I’ve been upgraded to a suite every time.

Not all the Hyatt Regency Executive suites at the Churchill have the same layout, but all offer a similar amount of space and similar furnishings.

At the time of my last visit, the Churchill had part-reopened the Regency Club on the 8th floor of the property. The Club normally occupies areas to the right and the left of the 8th-floor atrium which you step into as you exit the elevators but at the time this video was taken, only the right side was operating.

This video was taken during the day and at a time when the lounge wasn’t offering any special services, but the complimentary evenings drinks and canapé service is now back in the Club and to give you some idea of what that looks like, here are a few images.

I’m not going to pretend that I can remember what all of those individual dishes were, but I remember them being flavorful and they got our evening off to a good start before we headed out.

Anyway, that’s pretty much it! That’s what a Regency Executive Suite at the Churchill looks like and that’s what the part-reopened Club lounge complete with canapés looks like – hopefully we’ll see the Club lounge fully open very soon (if it isn’t already).

Sorry if the quality of the videos isn’t great, but I rarely get to practice taking anything other than still images and as I still haven’t mastered doing those to a good standard, I suspect it could be some time before my videography skills get any good 🙂
