Ok, I’m more than a little late writing about this (sorry, life got in the way), but better late than never!
Hyatt is currently running a promotion in which it’s offering World of Hyatt members the opportunity to earn up to 20,000 bonus World of Hyatt points through Hyatt Regency stays booked through the World of Hyatt app.
The promotion
- Register for the promotion by 23 November 2025 via the “offers” section of the World of Hyatt app (you won’t see this promotion if you view your account on the Hyatt desktop site).
- Most US Hyatt Regency stays booked through the World of Hyatt app and completed between the moment of registration and 23 November 2025 will qualify towards the promotion goals.
- Earn bonus points as follows:
- Stay 3 nights and earn 3,000 bonus points
- Stay 7 nights and earn a further 7,000 bonus points (10,000 bonus points in total)
- Stay 10 nights and earn a further 10,000 bonus points (20,000 bonus points in total)
The Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve in Puerto Rico appears to be the only US Hyatt Regency property which is not participating in this promotion.
Key terms
- You must be a World of Hyatt member in good standing at time of registration and stay and register via the World of Hyatt Mobile App between September 3, 2025, and November 23, 2025, to participate.

- After registration and during the Promotion Period, you will receive 3,000 Bonus Points after completing three (3) Eligible Nights booked via the World of Hyatt Mobile App, an additional 7,000 Bonus Points after completing seven (7) Eligible Nights booked via the World of Hyatt Mobile App, and an additional 10,000 Bonus Points after completing ten (10) Eligible Nights booked via the World of Hyatt Mobile App at participating Hyatt Regency hotels in the United States.
- Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico is not participating in this promotion.
- A maximum of 20,000 Bonus Points may be earned under this promotion.
- All points awarded under this promotion are Bonus Points.
- Any bookings made outside of the World of Hyatt Mobile App will not be eligible for this promotion.
- For the purpose of this promotion, an “Eligible Night” is defined as any night where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award.
- Only the room occupied by the member will count toward this promotion.
- Please allow two to three weeks after checkout for Bonus Points to be posted to your World of Hyatt account.
- Except as expressly stated, this promotion is valid with other offers, promotions or discounts and is non-transferable.

Thoughts
As long as your bookings were made through the app and the stays made within the promotion period and after registration, bookings made before this promotion was launched should be eligible for the bonus points.
I can’t see anything in the terms and conditions to suggest that only bookings made after registration will count.
That should be good news for quite a few people.
In further good news, this promotion will stack with any other World of Hyatt promotions that you may have been targeted for or that are ongoing (there’s at least one other targeted promotion running right ow and there could be a lot more), so you may be able to earn bonuses from more than one promotion during a single stay.
Overall, this is a relatively nice promotion to be targeted for if you already have some eligible stays planned (it’s better than no promotion at all), but I don’t think there’s too much here to encourage new bookings or to encourage someone to move one or more stays across from a different hotel chain.
At TFM, we value World of Hyatt points at 1.4 cents each (based on the value we know we can get out of them with relative ease) and that means that, effectively, this promotion is offering us the following rebates:
- Stay 3 nights and get $42 back
- Stay 7 nights and get $140 back (in total)
- Stay 10 nights and get $280 (in total)
Given the nightly rates that a lot of the US Hyatt Regency properties are charging right now, you could view this as a “stay 10 nights and get the cost of 1 night back” promotion.
Looked at in that way, this probably won’t look very tempting to most people who aren’t road warriors or people whose stays are paid for by someone else, but 10,000 or 20,000 bonus Hyatt points can be put to good use by most people, so this isn’t a promotion to write of without further thought.
Bottom line
Hyatt is now running an “app only” promotion in which it’s offering some or all World of Hyatt members (this could be targeted) the opportunity to earn up to 20,000 bonus points through stays made at Hyatt Regency properties in the US which have been booked though the World of Hyatt app.
