Continuing the recent theme of Hyatt being the only major hotelier that’s releasing any worthwhile news, we now have a new announcement from Hyatt to say that it has added a further 10 SLH properties to the World of Hyatt program. One of the properties is a little different.
The following 10 SLH properties are now part of the World of Hyatt and, in most cases, available to be booked with points:
United Kingdom
Rockliffe Hall in Darlington – Category 6
France
Tiara Chateau Hotel Mont Royal in La Chapelle-en-Serval – Category 6
Italy
Palm Suite in Rome – Category 6
Grand Hotel Victoria Concept and Spa in Lake Como – Category 6
Galleria Vik Milano in Milan – Category 6
Palazzo Manfredi in Rome – Category 8
Hotel Zur Goldenen Rose in Südtirol – Category 5
Costa Rica
Tabacon Thermal Resort and Spa in La Fortuna de San Carlos – Category 5
Mexico
Brick Hotel in Mexico City – Category 5
Villas del Mar in San Jose del Cabo*
*The Villas del Mar property has not been assigned a World of Hyatt category because it is not available for World of Hyatt points redemptions (guests will still earn points and elite night credits for bookings made through Hyatt). The overriding reason for this, according to Hyatt, is that this is a property that doesn’t have any single rooms (the entry-level “room” is a 3-bedroom villa), so it’s a unique offering that doesn’t fit into Hyatt’s standard redemption categories.
In response to my questions, Hyatt has been very clear that the Villas del Mar property is an exception and that all other SLH properties that get added to the World of Hyatt (and which offer standard rooms), will continue to be made available for redemptions.
Quick Thoughts
Once again this is more good news coming out of Hyatt. In recent weeks we’ve seen the hotelier extend a number of valuable promotions, we’ve seen it make earning top-tier elite status incredibly easy (for a limited time), we’ve had confirmation that 20 new European properties will open by the end of 2023 and now we’re getting a few more SLH properties at which we can earn and redeem World of Hyatt points..and only one of them will cost more than 25,000 points per night.
The Chateau in France looks amazing (especially for a Cat. 6 property), the option of another property on Lake Como in Italy is very good news (I love that area), and as someone who has always struggled to find a hotel that I really like in Rome, having 2 more choices in the Italian capital is very welcome.
Bottom Line
Hyatt has now added 10 more SLH properties to its World of Hyatt loyalty program. 9 of the properties can be booked with World of Hyatt points (with immediate effect) while one, unique, property will not be accepting award reservations.

If possible, can you please post a link to all SLH hotels that are part of WOH?
