Following on from Best Western/SureStay offer that we wrote about earlier, we have a second useful travel offer from Amex that has appeared in our accounts. This deal is for Hilton properties in Las Vegas/Nevada and it’s offering a saving of $100 on select stays that are paid for by 17 March 2025 (St. Patrick’s day!).

Quick thoughts
An offer of a $100 rebate on $500 of spending may not be enough to prompt someone into booking a trip they weren’t already planning, but given that Las Vegas prices seem to be staying stubbornly high (at least on weekends), it’s a rebate that will come in useful for anyone with a pressing need to visit Sin City.
Like the Best Western offer that was released today, this offer seems to be quite widely targeted, but it should be noted that although we can see it on all of our Membership Rewards cards, it’s not showing on our Hilton co-branded cards so they may be excluded from this deal.
Having said that, holders of the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card and the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card should still check those cards first as we may just be unlucky and those will be the cards that are likely to give cardholders the best return on any Hilton spending given that they offer 12 points/dollar and 14 points/dollar on Hilton spending respectively (terms apply).
Failing that, the American Express® Green Card (3 points/dollar on most travel spending – terms apply) and the Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express (2 points/dollar on the first $50,000 of eligible spending per year + 1 point/dollar thereafter – terms apply) will probably be the next best options to use.

Bottom line
American Express is currently targeting cardholders for a saving of $100 at Hilton properties in Las Vegas/Nevada. For those for whom Hilton is their primary hotel chain and who are looking to visit Vegas/Nevada in the coming months, this offer should be easy to trigger and for those traveling before the end of the year, it should go well with the current global promotion.
