JetBlue is obviously very happy with how its first foray into the transatlantic market has been going (the airline’s London routes) because it has just announced that it will be adding two new transatlantic services to Paris next year.
JetBlue’s new Paris routes
JetBlue says that plans to launch a new nonstop service between New York JFK and Paris CDG in summer 2023 and that at a later date, it will launch a second nonstop route to Paris from Boston.
Precise timings for the route launches are currently unavailable and all we know is that JetBlue plans to put seats on sale “in the coming months”.
The new Paris routes will be operated by the same A321LR aircraft that JetBlue currently operates to/from London and this means that Business Class passengers will have access to the newest (and highly acclaimed) Mint cabin.
The A321LR offers…
- 2 Mint Studio seats (the largest Business Class seats the airline offers)
- 22 Mint Business Class seats
- 24 Even More Space Economy Class seats
- 90 standard Economy Class seats
The aircraft also provides passengers with free unlimited high-speed wi-fi, AC power, USB-A power, USB-C power, and extra large overhead bins.
Bottom line
JetBlue’s latest announcement is very light in details but what know is that the airline plans to launch a new nonstop service between New York JFK and Paris CDG next summer and that all being well, a new route between Boston and Paris CDG will also be added at a later date.
