Alongside the resorts sale that we wrote about yesterday, IHG is also running two further deals, and these are for stays across the Middle East, Africa, India and South Asia.
One deal (which is new) offers a saving for booking through the IHG app while the other deal (which has been around for a few weeks) offers a 4th night free and free stays for kids when customers book a suite.
Save on select bookings made through the IHG app
Book by 30 September 2024 and get up to 13% off stays consumed by 6 October at participating properties in the Middle East, Africa, India and South Asia.
10% off key terms
- The offer is valid only for bookings made through 30 September, 2024 (“Booking Dates”) for stays until 6 October, 2024 (“Stay Dates”).
- The Promotion offers a discount of up to 10% off the Participating Hotel’s Best Flexible Rate (which is a variable, unrestricted, non-qualified, non-discount rate) for IHG One Rewards members booking on the IHG App (iOS or Android).
- IHG One Rewards members booking via any of the qualified channels – IHG desktop or IHG mobile site or directly at hotel or CRO (IHG managed toll-free central reservation office) can also avail a 3% discount off our Best Flexible Rate.
- IHG One Rewards members also receive 25% to 30% discount on dining as part of IHG Dining Deals at participating outlets when showing proof of their membership via the IHG App.
- Children up to 12 years and sharing the room with full paying adults stay and eat free. Extra person charge may apply as per participating hotel’s policy. Any other specific meals/drinks are not included within this offer.
- The Promotion is valid across Southwest Asia, the Middle East and Africa at participating InterContinental, voco, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Staybridge Suites, Vignette Collection and Holiday Inn hotels and resorts. Additional unbranded hotels currently managed by IHG® are also participating in the campaign.
- Federal or local Government Taxes, service charge, any mandatory fee, credit card surcharges are not included. The Promotion is not applicable to group bookings. Blackout dates (days when the offers are not available) may apply in some participating hotels.

Fourth night free + two kids stay & eat free
When you book 4 nights in a Suite at any one of 8 IHG brands across the Middle East, Africa, India & South Asia, the 4th night is free, breakfast is included, and two kids up to 17 years stay and eat for free.
Fourth night free key terms
- IHG “A Suite Deal” is valid on participating hotels and resorts promotional rate for bookings made by 30 September, 2024 using the “STAY 4 PAY 3 IMEA” rate for stays made by 31 October, 2024.
- The promotion offers guests, for selected suites/ rooms in participating hotels, who book a consecutive four-night stay, every 4th night will be free. Additionally, kids up to the age of 17 stay and dine for free.
- The free night cannot be redeemed in cash or kind and will not be carried over to a future stay and will need to be consumed in the same stay.
- The free night offer will follow the rules below.
- For every 4 consecutive nights stay in an individual reservation, the 4th night will be free.
- For every 8 consecutive nights stay in an individual reservation, the 4th and 8th night will be free.
- For every 12 consecutive nights stay in an individual reservation, the 4th, 8th and 12th night will be free.
- For every 16 consecutive nights stay in an individual reservation, the 4th, 8th, 12th and 16th night will be free.
- For every 20 consecutive nights stay in an individual reservation, the 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th and 20th night will be free.
- For every 24 consecutive nights stay in an individual reservation, the 4th, 8th,12th 16th, 20th and 24th night will be free.
- For every 28 consecutive nights stay in an individual reservation, the 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th, 20th, 24th and 28th night will be free.
- The reservation cannot be broken or amended.
- Any mandatory charges other than the room rate on the free nights will be applicable on the free nights.
- The free night is NOT a 25% discount but the said free night being free. The free night(s) as indicated above is not movable to an alternative night in the booking.
- Kids Stay Free – up to two (2) children stay free when sharing a room/ suite with up to two (2) adults at any of the Participating Hotels, subject to maximum room occupancy restrictions and subject to availability. Baby crib/ cot is complimentary while rollaway beds may be chargeable. Rules for maximum room occupancy will supersede this offer.
- Kids Eat Free – For registered guests only. This is available for children
- a) when ordering for breakfast, lunch & dinner;
- b) when ordering in the hotel’s dine-in restaurant;
- c) when ordering from the Kids’ Menu (which must consist of at least 1 main course and 1 dessert) and;
- d) when accompanied by at least one (1) adult who is registered as a hotel guest at the Participating Hotel and must order at least one main course from the full priced menu.
- The Kids Eat Free offer is limited to up to four (4) children per dining family, per meal OR up to two (2) children per parent, per meal.
- The kids dining free will be from a limited kid’s menu. Regular pricing for kids will be applicable if ordering from the regular menu and offering.
- The Promotion rate offer may not be applicable to all rooms and suites and is at the discretion of the participating hotels.
- Booking Requirements: All bookings at this promotional rate must be made on the IHG Website, IHG APP or with the IHG CRO.

- Room rates are based on Room & Buffet Breakfast basis and rates are per room/ suite, per night.

- Any other specific meals/ drinks are not included within this offer. The Promotion requires a Non-Refundable deposit for complete stay at the time of booking. Cancellation penalty will be applied for all nights and deposit will be forfeited.

Very quick thoughts
As with all promotions, make sure you read the terms carefully and make sure that you understand the cancellation policies relating to any bookings that you plan to make.
A lot of IHG’s discounts are based on the best flexible rate but turn out not to be very flexible aa all, so don’t get caught out.
As far as the 4th night free promotion goes…
Pay attention to the wording which reads “The free night is NOT a 25% discount but the said free night being free. The free night(s) as indicated above is not movable to an alternative night in the booking“.
This should mean that in the case of bookings where the cost of some nights is greater than the cost of others, someone with a bit of flexibility may be able to ensure that they book in such a way that the most expensive night of their stay falls on the 4th night.
As some hotels/resorts, that could make a material difference to the total cost of the booking.
Bottom line
IHG is currently running two promotions for stays in Africa, the Middle East, India and South Asia, so if you have plans to stay in any of those locations in the coming weeks, make sure you check to see if either promotion can save you some money.
