This year’s ‘Daily Getaways‘ promotion launched on Monday and on day 3 of this year’s promotion, the deals are focused on Hilton Honors points. As usual, today’s deals will go live at 13:00 Eastern, and, today, participants will be able to buy bundles of Hilton Honors points at 0.5 cents per point.
The deals
These are the deals that Daily Getaways is promoting today:
In all three deals, Hilton Honors points can be purchased for 0.5 cents each so there isn’t a deal that stands out above the rest.
As with the IHG One Rewards promotion on Monday, I’m not about to suggest that what we’ll be witnessing later today will offer a chance to indulge in an amazing deal that everyone should be trying to get in on – Honors points can be purchased for 0.5 cents in a lot of Hilton’s frequent points sales – but these deals do have one important use.
Firstly, keep in mind that any points purchased in these Daily Getaway deals do not count towards the yearly maximum that Hilton imposes when it’s selling points through Points.com (like the sale that ended yesterday), so anyone who has maxed out their yearly Hilton Honors points purchasing allowance can still buy points today.
Also and anyone buying points today and who hasn’t purchased points through one of Hilton’s sales this year will keep their yearly allowance intact.
Secondly, keep in mind that anyone who holds Hilton Honors status can make the most of the ‘5th-night free’ benefit that all Hilton elites are given and which in conjunction with a sale like this one, can offer a fantastic way of booking great properties at a significant discount (in the last Hilton sale I showed how you can book 5 nights in the Maldives for just $2,400 dollars).
Key terms
These packages may or may not be in high demand – it’s hard to tell. With a Hilton sale having only just ended, demand may not be as high as it could have been, but if you’re set on making the most of one of these deals, I suggest not taking any chances and logging in at 13:00.
Also, keep in mind that there’s a limit to how many of these deals a single Hilton Honors account can purchase:
“Up to five (5) sets of Points may be purchased in total per Hilton Honors member for all Hilton Honors offers in this promotion.”
Make sure you check all the terms and conditions which you’ll find on the Daily Getaways page.
Bottom line
At 13:00 ET today, a new set of Daily Getaways promotions will go live and Hilton Honors points will go on sale at 0.5 cents each. Clearly, this isn’t a promotion that’s particularly amazing but it has its uses, and readers with Hilton Honors elite status may be able to pair this sale with their 5th-night-free benefit to book a very good deal.
Today only, seriously? This is available almost every day via 100% bonus.
Yes, seriously. These particular deals are available only today.
The fact that Hilton points can frequently be purchased at 0.5 cents during other sales is well covered in this article.
