After giving the Americas a head start (that sale started a few days ago), Qatar Airways has now launched its Black Friday sales for the rest of the world’s regions. This year’s sale targeted at the airline’s European audience sees it offering savings of up to 20%.
The sale
Book by 2 December 2025 for travel from 2 December 2025 through to the end of the booking calendar and get up to 20% off select flights originating in Europe.
Key terms
The terms of this sale vary slightly depending on where you’re originating (so check the terms for your departure point carefully), but these are the key general terms that govern the sale as a whole:
- Offer period: 21 November 2025 – 02 December 2025
- Travel period: From 02 December 2025
- Travel end date is up to +365 calendar days from date of booking.
- Offer valid on all Qatar Airways (QR operated) flights originating from Europe only.
- Offer not applicable on any Interline or codeshare flights.
- Applicable on Qatar Airways flights from Europe.
- Savings in Economy Class: Up to 20% on booking classes: Q, T, O (Classic).
- Savings in Business Class: Up to 20% on booking classes: I (Comfort), R (Classic), P (Lite).
- Blackout Periods:
- Premium cabins: None
- Economy cabin: See your local terms and conditions.
- Savings apply only when all flights on the booking are of the same booking class.
- Savings apply on base fare only.
- Tickets are non-endorsable and non-transferable.
- Any change or cancellation less than 3 hours prior to the stated time of departure will be considered as no-show and no-show penalties will apply.
Important to note
The first key thing to note is that this year’s Black Friday savings are only applicable to specific routes and the routes will vary depending on the country from which you choose to start your journey.
For example, if you’re originating in the UK, these are the destinations to which you can fly while saving up to 20%:
Auckland, Bahrain, Basra, Cebu, Chengdu, Chongqing, Clark, Hong Kong Maputo, Muscat, Neom Bay, Osaka, Salalah, The Red Sea.
If, however, you’re departing from Sweden, you’re limited to just these seven destinations:
Abu Dhabi, Denpasar Bali, Hong Kong, Jeddah, Kathmandu, Muscat, Nairobi.
The second thing you need to note is that the sale applies to flights sold by and operated by Qatar Airways, so you won’t find any of the airline’s codeshares offering sale pricing.
Quick thoughts
This is a remarkably poor Black Friday sale. In fact, it’s depressingly bad.
Not only does this sale appear to be limited to fewer destinations than any other Qatar Airways sale we’ve seen this year, the savings on offer are no better than what we’ve seen offered on other occasions in 2025.
If you’re based in Europe and have been waiting for the Black Friday sales in the hopes of snapping up a great Qatar Airways deal, you’re probably going to be disappointed.
Don’t forget that the sale terms say that the savings on offer are “up to 20%” and that means that you may have to search quite diligently to find a flight that’s discounted by as much as 20%. Quite a few flights (possibly most flights) will almost certainly be discounted by less.

Bottom line
The Qatar Airways Black Friday sale for Europe is now live and it’s a colossal disappointment. The biggest discount being offered is 20%, the savings are only available on a handful of routes (these routes vary depending on where you’re starting from), and the number of blackout dates for travel from some locations is high.
Let’s hope another major carrier comes out with a better sale as this one is not going to get anyone jumping for joy.
