ITA Airways has launched a new flash sale for departures from the UK, France and Spain in which it’s offering 20% off Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class fares (including Light fares) if you book by the end of Thursday 28 August 2026.
The sale
- Book by 23:59 (local time) on 28 August 2025.
- Travel between 15 September and 18 December 2025
- Use promo code ONBOARD when booking (you’re given the opportunity to add a discount code after you’ve selected your flights)*.
- Get 20% off one-way and round-trip bookings.
- Business Class, Premium Economy, and all Economy Class fares are included.
- There is no limit to the number of times the promo code can be used
*Make sure you type the promo code in capital letters and don’t copy and paste the promo code as that sometimes causes issues.

- During the validity period, the discount code can be used several times but only on [your local ITA website]
- The discount is applied to the fare (excluding supplements and taxes) for one-way and round-trip flights operated by ITA Airways between 15 September 2025 and 18 December 2025

Quick thoughts
I have no idea how good or bad ITA’s fares are right now because, rather unhelpfully, the ITA flight search seems to be malfunctioning, but 20% off a booking has got to be a good thing, right?
The key here is that there aren’t many restrictions surrounding the routes on which the promo code will work.
One-way and round-trip bookings are both fine, bookings in any cabin of service (including Light/Basic economy) are eligible for the discount, and flights to anywhere in the ITA route map (long-haul or short-haul) should trigger the discount as well.
That all looks good to me.
Yes, you can’t use the promo code on multi city itineraries, but that’s unlikely to be a restriction that’s going to bother too many people.
