IHG sale: Get up to 40% off in North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean (select brands)

IHG One Rewards members can now get 30% off the best flexible rates on bookings made at select IHG brands in North America, Latin America and the Caribbean and up to 40% off at select Iberostar Resorts in the same regions. Reservations need to be locked in by the end of the month and stays must be made by 30 September 2025.

Deal 1: 30% off at IHG Luxury and Lifestyle brands

IHG One Rewards members (free to sign up) will enjoy 30% off the Best Flexible rate on bookings made for stays at nine of the hotelier’s luxury and lifestyle brands when the stays are booked by 30 June and consumed by 30 September 2025.

Key terms:

Booking

There are only two things that you really need to keep an eye on when booking these deals.

Firstly, when searching for participating properties (of which there are quite a few), make sure you’re searching using the “Limited Time Offer” rate preference.

The easiest way to make sure that you do this is to use the search bar on the sale page.

Secondly, when looking through your search results, make sure that whatever property you’re interested in shows the Limited Time Offer Banner.

If you don’t see this banner next to the price being displayed, you’re not seeing a rate offered by this sale.

Thoughts

The percentage discounts are impressive, but be aware that the discounts on offer are based on the best flexible rate published by the properties and this is often not the cheapest rate going. The non-refundable rates will be cheaper and this means that the headline saving of 30% or 40% will not always apply if you would have been happy booking a non-refundable rate.

Speaking of non-refundable rates …

Take note that the two deals have different terms and conditions when it comes to the refundability of whatever booking(s) you’re making.

The luxury and lifestyle brands bookings appear to allow free cancellation up to 7 days ahead of your check-in date (one night penalty if you cancel within 7 days of your expected arrival) while the Iberostar Resorts bookings allow you to choose between refundable and non-refundable options.

Overall, there may be some good deals available here as a lot of properties appear to be participating and the sale discounts appear to be available on more than just the entry level rooms (a lot of the properties that I’ve checked have offered the sale rate on three different room types).

Importantly, all the sale rates offered by the Luxury and Lifestyle properties have a degree of flexibility built into them so you’re not being forced into a booking out of which you can’t escape – if you find a good deal but you’re not sure if you can commit to the dates, you should be able to lock the deal in now and not risk losing anything as long as you cancel more than 7 days before you’re due to check in (but check the terms carefully before you book).
