JetBlue may not be doing very well right now (Spirit’s objection to the JetBlue/United Airlines partnership probably didn’t do much for team morale yesterday), but the airline seems determined to continue celebrating its 25th year of operations regardless of what else may be going on, and along those lines, it has launched a huge new promotion for Mosaic members.
JetBlue’s “25 for 25” birthday promotion
In honor of its 25th birthday JetBlue wants to reward its frequent flyers with a mountain of TrueBlue points and, for those with an insatiable appetite for flying, 25 years of Mosaic 1 elite status.
Here’s the deal:
- Fly to 15 JetBlue destinations and earn 150,000 TrueBlue points
- Fly to 20 JetBlue destinations and earn an additional 200,000 TrueBlue points
- Fly to 25 JetBlue destinations and earn all the TrueBlue points from above + 25 years of Mosaic 1 elite status.
To earn each reward, members of the TrueBlue program must complete qualifying travel on JetBlue between 25 June and 31 December 2025.

Each destination (or airport, in cities with multiple airports) will count once. Qualifying travel is on JetBlue-operated flights only, excluding Blue Basic fares and codeshare flights.
To be clear, where a city has more than one airport served by JetBlue, each airport in that city will qualify as a valid destination (so a flight to JFK and a flight to EWR will count as two destinations, for example).
Key terms:
- This offer is valid for new and existing flown bookings departing 6/25/25 through 12/31/25.
- Customers visiting 15 destinations, as defined below, will earn 150,000 bonus TrueBlue points; 20 destinations will earn an additional 200,000 bonus TrueBlue points; and 25 destinations will earn Mosaic 1 status for 25 years in addition to any bonus points earned for visiting 15 and 20 destinations.
- To qualify, members must visit 15, 20 or 25 unique destinations on JetBlue-operated flights (excludes codeshare, interline and partner airline-operated flights).
- Blue, Blue Extra, EvenMore® and Mint® bookings, including Award Flights, Cash + Points bookings and JetBlue Vacations bookings, are eligible for this promotion.
- Blue Basic bookings are not eligible for this promotion and destinations visited on a Blue Basic fare booking will not count as qualifying unique destinations.
- Departure airports will not count as destinations in this promotion (e.g., LAX-BUF will count as visiting one destination (BUF)).
- Individual airports will count as unique destinations for cities with multiple airports (e.g., JFK, LGA and EWR are each unique destinations).
- Destinations visited on connecting flights are each considered qualifying destinations, regardless of time spent in the connecting city.
- Members must attach a valid TrueBlue number before travel to qualify.
- Non-revenue and Paisly bookings are not eligible for this promotion.
- Mosaic status will include Mosaic 1 status with a Perks You Pick® selection (Mosaic benefits and perk selections and offerings are subject to change).
- Points and status will be issued within 2-3 weeks of offer

Quick thoughts
Ok, if I was feeling particularly grumpy today I’d point out that Mosaic 1 is the lowest level of elite status that you can earn and I may even point out that the way JetBlue is going, there’s very little guarantee that there will be a TrueBlue program of which to be a member in 5 years let alone 25 … but that would probably be a little harsh given that this sounds like a fun promotion.
For the record, this is what Mosaic 1 elite status offers:

As far as the points on offer go, well, here at TFM we value JetBlue points at around 1 cent each based in the value we usually get out of them. That would value the points on offer in this promotion at $1,500 (for the first 15 destinations) and a further $2,000 (for a total of $3,500) when a flyer visits 20 destinations.
That’s not bad, but it’s not earth shattering either and that value will change (obviously) if you have a different value for TrueBlue points than we do.
Overall, however, I have to admit that this looks like a nice promotion to participate in if you have the time and the inclination.
JetBlue tells us that it serves over 100 destinations “on both sides of the Atlantic” so with a little over 6 months in which to complete the necessary flights, with reward bookings counting as well as regular bookings, and with a multiple airports in a single city each counting as a valid destination, this is a promotion that doesn’t appear to be overly taxing.
Personally, I wouldn’t put too much weight on the “25 years of Mosaic 1 elite status” offer as Mosaic 1 is not worth all that much now and it may be worth even less in a few years’ time, but if you can earn the points being offered in a fun and economical way, why no see how many destinations you can visit? You may even get to see places you probably wouldn’t have otherwise seen.
Bottom line
JetBlue has launched a new promotion as part of its 25th birthday celebration and the promotion is offering TrueBlue members the chance to earn up to 350,000 points and 25 years of Mosaic 1 elite status.
