The Accor sale for most regions of the world is a bit of a disappointment as most properties require a stay of 3-nights or more for the discounts to kick in. In the Americas, however, things look a lot better with savings of up to 50% on offer and no minimum stay requirements.

The bonus points offer
This offer allows ALL – Accor Live Limitless members to multiply the points they earn from one stay with the multiplier being dependant on the status a guest holds with the program.
- Members with Classic status can multiply their reward points by 2x
- Members with Silver, Gold, and Platinum status can multiply their reward points by 3x
- Members with Diamond and Limitless status, as well as ALL Signature subscribers, can multiply their reward points by 4x.
The points earned are calculated based on the number of points credited to the member by the hotel upon completion of an eligible stay, applying the general terms and conditions of the ALL – Accor Live Limitless program, based on the Classic status (i.e. it’s a member’s base points that are multiplied).
Quick thoughts
As seems to be usual this year, there’s one key thing to be careful about here – the sale rates require full prepayment and are non-flexible and non-refundable, so if your plans aren’t set in stone up or if you’re not a fan of booking non-flexible rates, this isn’t a sale for you.
Other than that, things look good. What’s not to like about a sale that offers you up to 40% off in the United States and Canada and up to 50% off at properties elsewhere in the Americas?
Personally, I don’t get excited about opportunities to earn Accor points as they have a fixed value and can’t be used for outsize redemptions, so I would suggest viewing the bonus points on offer as a nice extra rather than something to encourage you to make a booking.
Bottom line
The Accor Black Friday sale for the Americas looks promising. Members of the free-to-join Accor Live Limitless rewards program can earn up to 40% off at properties in North America and up to 50% off at properties in all other parts of the Americas.
With Marriott currently only offering up to 25% off, Hilton only offering up to 25% off, IHG only offering up to 25% off (at most properties), and Hyatt only offering up to 20%, 25% or 30% off in their sales, it looks like we’ll have to turn to Accor for some of the better hotel deals this Black Friday.
