It looks like the World of Hyatt is back with another round of targeted promotions which are now appearing in member accounts. Hyatt doesn’t appear to be sending out emails to inform members of the new promotions, so you’ll have to login to see if you’ve been targeted.

The targeted promotions

There appear to be at least five different promotions in this round of deals (according to reports on Facebook, FlyerTalk, and HfP).

This is what those promotions look like:

  • Earn 1,000 bonus points per night, up to 10 nights, for a total of up to 10,000 bonus points.
  • Earn 1,500 bonus points per qualifying night, up to 10 nights, for a total of up to 15,000 bonus points.
  • Earn 3,000 bonus points for every 5 qualifying nights, up to 50 nights, for a total of 30,000 bonus points.
  • Earn 10,000 bonus points for every 10 qualifying nights, up to 30 nights, for a total of 30,000 bonus points.
  • Earn one Free Night Award toward a Category 1-4 hotel with a qualifying 2-night stay.

Other promotions may be out there, so let us know in the comments if you spot a deal that we haven’t mentioned.

Key things to note

If you’ve been targeted, you will have to register to trigger your promotion and you’ll then have 90 days from registration to earn whatever bonuses or Free Night Awards you have been targeted for.

This means that it makes sense to hold off from registering until you know you’re entering a period where you’ll be spending a few nights at Hyatt properties (but check to see if your targeted offer has a “register by” date to avoid missing out completely).

It looks like stays all Hyatt properties worldwide are will count towards the requirements in these promotions (we’re not sure if that includes Mr & Mrs Smith properties as none of our accounts have been targeted so we can’t see the full terms and conditions) so that should make it relatively easy for targeted members to participate and earn.

Lastly, it’s worth noting that award bookings are included in this promotion, so if you’ve been targeted for a “earn x points/night” deal, you could view that as deal that’s offering you a rebate on your points bookings.

How to access targeted promotions

For anyone unfamiliar with the Hyatt website or the Hyatt app, this is how you can access your promotions page.

Desktop site:

Login -> Account -> My Offers -> Select the “Available” Tab

App:

Account -> Scroll down to “Offers for you” (under “Your YTD Progress”) -> “See all”

If you’ve been targeted, following the paths outlined above should lead you to your offer.

Bottom line

Hyatt is currently targeting select World of Hyatt members for deals offering bonus points and bonus Free Night Award in return for nights spent at Hyatt properties worldwide. This may not be a widely targeted set of offers as none of our accounts are showing them, but given that some of the deals look promising, everyone should be checking their World of Hyatt accounts to see if there one of the lucky ones.

Were you targeted? If yes, what was your deal?
