I’ve lost count the number of times I’ve flown on this exact flight path and seen this view of London from the air (when the weather allows!). It always keeps me glued to the window.
I finally remembered to try to video the whole thing but I managed to miss the O2, Canary Wharf and the Isle of Dogs. Having said that, from Tower Bridge onwards, most of the main sights are there. I’ve deliberately not added any music and not stabilised the video so this is exactly what you hear and see.
Heres a checklist of some of the easier sights to spot:
- Tower Bridge
- The City
- The Shard
- The London Eye
- The Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament)
- The Mall
- Buckingham Palace
- Hyde Park & the Serpentine
- The Royal Albert Hall
- The Wembley Arch
