Qatar Airways is one of the first airlines to fly the new Airbus A350 and it was with some fanfare that it announced that it would fly the aircraft on 2 routes between Doha and the United States including its New York route.
The planned schedules for the Qatar A350 flights to the US are as follows:
Doha – Boston (from 16 March 2016)
QR743 DOH 08:20 – BOS 14:30
QR744 BOS 22:55 – DOH 18:10+1 day
Doha – New York JFK
QR703 DOH 01:30 – JFK 08:25
QR704 JFK 10:25 – DOH 06:00+1 day
The New York A350 flight was scheduled to commence on 1 March 2016 but AirlineRoute.net is now reporting that the date has been pushed back to 1 April 2016.
No reason has yet been given for the delayed start to the service.
