Qatar Airways has now launched its Black Friday sales for departures from various European countries (see here for the Americas promotions) and this year it’s also throwing an offer of up to 10,000 bonus Avios into the mix.

Bonus discount for subscribers
Subscribers to Qatar Airways mailers are being emailed an offer for an extra 5% discount on select Economy and Business Class fares booked during the promotion period and flown by the end of October 2024.
Check your inboxes to see if you have received this offer as you will need the unique (to you) promotion code that the email contains to trigger the discount.

Oddly, nowhere in any of the text that I’ve seen covering this promotion does Qatar Airways say what you have to do to earn the full 10,000 Avios.
Based on prior Qatar Airways promotions, I suspect that an eligible Economy Class booking will earn 5,000 Avios while eligible Business Class and First Class bookings will earn the full 10,000 Avios, but I’m waiting to hear back from Qatar Airways to get this confirmed.
Bottom line
Qatar Airways is now running three European promotions in honor of Black Friday (four promotions if you include the ‘buy Avios and get a 50% bonus’ deal that’s also currently on offer).
Sale fares are now available from all the European cities that Qatar Airways serves, subscribers to the airline’s email list have access to a bonus discount of 5%, and Privilege Club members can earn up to 10,000 Avios when they book a qualifying flight during the promotion period and travel by the end of June next year.
