Following on from the earlier news that JetBlue is running a promotion in which its offering flyers up to 350,000 bonus points and 25 years of elite status, we can also report that the airline will be keeping its double-daily service on the Newark – Los Angeles route for a couple of months longer than expected and that it will bring its Mint Business Class product to Orlando later this year.
Newark – Los Angeles route will run a little longer
As things stand, JetBlue operates a double-daily service between Newark and Los Angeles (LAX) for the summer season and with the season ending towards the end of October, that was when we were expecting that these flights would be pulled.
Not anymore.
JetBlue has decided that a brief extension is in order to give “more travelers the chance to enjoy JetBlue’s premium experience during the high-demand holiday travel season“, so the double-daily service will be available a little longer.
To flights a day will now continue to be operated through 4 January 2026 and from 26 October, this is what the schedule currently looks like:
B6 1573 EWR 07:00 – 09:55 LAX (Daily)
B6 1873 EWR 19:55 – 23:09 LAX (Daily)
B6 1874 LAX 10:12 – 18:32 EWR (Daily)
B6 1574 LAX 20:50 – 05:00+1 day EWR (Daily)
Between 5 January and 28 April, there are currently no JetBlue services set to operate between Newark and LAX (there are, however, plenty of JFK-LAX services), so we’re not expecting the double-daily service to return before 29 April 2026.
Orlando – Las Vegas route gets Mint Business Class
Later this month, JetBlue will celebrate 25 years of serving Orlando airport and almost in time to celebrate that milestone, the airline plans to start offering its Mint Business Class product on the Las Vegas – Orlando route.
Specifically, we’re told that from 30 October 2025, JetBlue will offer two daily flights featuring Mint Business Class between Orlando and Las Vegas for the winter travel season, with one of those flights continuing year-round.
Here’s what the planned schedule looks like when the flights take off on 30 October:
B6 2831 MCO 07:55 – 10:15 LAS (Daily)
B6 2821 MCO 20:30 – 22:49 LAS (Daily)
B6 2832 LAS 11:25 – 19:20 MCO (Daily)
B6 2822 LAS 22:10 – 06:05+1 day MCO (Daily)
The double daily service is set to run through 28 March 2026 at which point the schedules change and flights 2831/2822 get cut.
Bottom line
JetBlue has announced that it will carry on offering a double-daily service between Newark and Los Angeles through 4 January 2026 instead of pulling the service (as was expected) at the end of October.
Additionally, the airline has also said that it plans to offer a double-daily service between Orlando and Las Vegas for the winter season with both flights featuring its Mint Business Class product.
