At the time the program was rolled out, only around 25 properties were participating and that made options a little limiting. The “Work From Hyatt” Package
Hyatt describes its “Work From Hyatt” package as an option which “encourages work-life and school-life balance with the comforts of a premium resort experience” and, with that aim in mind, a number of Hyatt resorts in the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean are now offering the following starting from $139 + tax per night:
- Standard guestroom or suite accommodations with the option to upgrade
- Workspace that’s either a separate, private space or a complimentary second guestroom
- Daily food and beverage credit

- Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi internet access
- Housekeeping services that reflect guest preferences on frequency and time of day
- Waived resort fees
- Standard World of Hyatt in-hotel benefits including earning points and having nights count toward elite-tier status
Importantly, World of Hyatt members can also use their points balances to book Work From Hyatt packages.
Further to the above, Hyatt says that most participating hotels, the Work From Hyatt package also includes “hotel-curated perks” that vary from property to property. Examples of these perks are as follows:

Quick Thoughts
You can see my full thoughts on the Work from Hyatt packages in the original post I wrote on the subject but as far as the latest updates go, things look good.
Hyatt has added 3 more properties in Hawaii (taking the total number of participating Hawaii properties to 7), a number of new Destination Residences have been added, some of the more popular ski regions now offer considerably more options, states like Louisiana, Tennessee, and Missouri finally have at least one participating property each, and, finally, South America gets a look-in too.
Bottom line
Hyatt’s “Work from Hyatt” packages are now available to book at almost 90 properties across North America, Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean. For a family looking to take a staycation (or a break within their own state) while still keeping up with their jobs (assuming they can work from “home”), this could be something well worth looking into. If you’re happy to travel, the options in Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean may appeal.
