Quick thoughts

The first thing to note is that we can’t tell if all of Hyatt’s properties in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa are participating in this sale, but with 152 locations showing on the promotion page, we’d guess that only a handful (if any) have opted out.

The second thing to note is that unlike with a few other Hyatt promotions that we’ve seen in the past, you definitely need to use the promo code (MEMBER) to trigger the savings on offer.

Thirdly (this is a key point), keep in mind that the discount being offered is based on the “standard rate” which isn’t the cheapest rate that Hyatt properties usually offer, and this means that you may not really be saving 25%.

Here. for example, is what the Hyatt Regency London The Churchill is charging on a randomly selected night during the promotion period:

The Churchill Pricing.

As you can see, the sale rate is the “standard rate” discounted by 25%, but there are at two other rates also available (not including any AAA or Hyatt Leverage rates) and based on the cheapest of those rates, the discount is just 6%.

That doesn’t look particularly good (especially as the sale rate isn’t in any way flexible), but keep in mind that the sale rate also includes daily breakfast for two and that’s a saving that could be worth quite a bit in a lot of the cities covered by this promotion (if you’re a Hyatt Globalist member, you already get breakfast included on most of your stays so this won’t be of much use to you).

Anyone who has access to the Hyatt Leverage program should make sure that they check the discount that the program is offering them before jumping on any other promotional rate because not only may the Hyatt Leverage rate be better, it will also definitely offer more flexible booking terms.

Bottom line

For bookings made through 7 August, Hyatt is offering up to 25% off its standard rate for bookings in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa as long as the stays are made by 2 November 2025.

At a lot of properties, this deal will unlock a rate that beats all the others, but the rate you will be booking will be inflexible and the discount you’ll be offered won’t represent a true 25% saving, so you need to be careful before getting too excited about what Hyatt is offering here and you need to make sure that you compare the sale rates to all the other discounted rates available to you before you book.
