Good Deal: Get 10% Cash Back On Marriott Bookings

This deal comes and goes more often than an oceanic tide so I propose to write a standard blog post (this one) and republish it every time the promotion reappears – if you think you’ve seen some of the information below before you’re not imagining things.

Ebates is currently offering 10% cash back on Marriott bookings when you use the portal to click through to the Marriott website and, because you’ll be booking your stay through one of Marriott’s sales channels, your stay will still earn you Bonvoy points and elite night credits and you’ll still be able to avail yourself of any status benefits due to you.

Also, it’s worth noting that this will stack with the Marriott Amex offer I wrote about yesterday so your overall savings may be even better than the 10% offered by Ebates.

Before you dive in, be aware that it doesn’t look like all Marriott brands are participating.

You may notice that the exclusions appear to differ depending on which of the 10% cash back links you select…..for example:

Unfortunately this doesn’t mean that you can get around the restrictions by being careful which link you use – it turns out that brand-specific links will only allow you to view properties and make bookings at those specific brands (thanks to Bernard for pointing this out in the comments).

Ebates is not currently showing how long this promotion will last so it’s best to assume this is a 1-day only deal. if it lasts longer that’s just a bonus.
