The better fares
As things stand, Etihad operates flights to/from just 5 US cities – Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York, and Washington D.C. – and the best fares that I’ve seen are for flights out of Atlanta (so it may be worth booking a cheap positioning flight if your home airport is not served or if the fares from your home airport are high).
These are the better Business Class round trip fares that I’ve seen (sub $3,000 fares):
From Atlanta:
- Bahrain – from $2,989
- Bengaluru – from $2,752
- Dammam – from $2,833
- Hyderabad – from $2,999
- Mumbai – from $2,315
- New Delhi – from $2,701
From Boston:
- Bengaluru – from $2,943
- New Delhi – from $2,769
From Chicago:
- Kolkata – from $2,901
From New York (JFK):
No deals under $3,000 (Mumbai comes close with fares from $3,063)
From Washington D.C. (IAD):
No deals under $3,000 (The cheapest destination appears to be Kuwait with fares from $3,187)
Bottom line
The Etihad global sale is now in progress but it ends in just a few days’ time (24 July 2025). The airline is offering a few sub $3,000 round trip fares to select destinations in the Middle East and Asia with departures out of Atlanta appearing to offer the best savings.
