If you don’t see a destination you’re interested in visiting in the lists above it doesn’t mean that it’s not on sale – it just means that it isn’t one of the better deals (in my opinion). You can use the British Airways Low Fare Finder Tool to check the fares to all destinations BA serves.

If you don’t see a destination you’re interested in visiting in the lists above it doesn’t mean that it’s not on sale – it just means that it isn’t one of the better deals (in my opinion). You can use the British Airways Low Fare Finder Tool to check the fares to all destinations BA serves.

Things To Watch Out For

There are a number of very good deals in this latest sale and some of the fares are noticeably better than the fares BA was offering in its last sale just a few weeks ago…but things aren’t quite that straight forward.

A quick look at the Low Fare Finder tool shows that some of these fares are only available on very restricted dates so some flexibility may be required.

The New York Business Class fare, for example, looks good at £1,367 roundtrip but when you take a look at your date options you see that the very best deals are only available in April and May:

a screenshot of a graphThis certainly isn’t the case for all the fares (some good deals are available from April right through to the end of the current booking period in September) but it’s worth being careful and checking dates before you get too excited about the options available.

Bottom Line

Some of these fares look very good indeed (the West Coast in First Class from £1,999 is a great deal) and there’s definitely scope here to build both a fun trip and trip that rakes in Avios/AAdvantage Miles and Tier Points/Elite Qualifying miles too.

Bearing in mind that a roundtrip First Class fare to North America will earn a minimum of 420 Tier Points, there’s a lot of scope for getting yourself well on the way to retaining/earning elite status with these fares.
