Generally speaking, I don’t write about Citi offers very often because they’ve been so buggy since they launched that I’ve lost patience with them and I don’t check them as often as I probably should. Nevertheless, I’ve just remembered to check my offers and there are four identical offers available for anyone considering a stay at one of the four Mandarin Oriental properties in the US.
The Offers
These are the offers I’m seeing in my Citi account:

- Earn $100 back when you spend $500 or more
- Valid on spending including taxes
- Valid for reservations made online at mandarinoriental.com
- Excludes gift card purchases and e-gift purchases
- Valid only on spending charged to a room
- Offer limited to one redemption per enrolled card
- Offer must be added to your Citi card before you pay
- Offer expires 15 August 2021

Quick Thoughts
This is probably quite a niche deal but it may still appeal to a good number of people when you consider how popular the Mandarin Oriental brand is.
A key thing to note is that these four offers appear to be targeted to multiple Citi cards (I’m seeing this on my Citi® Double Cash Card (review) and my Citi Premier® Card) so as the terms and conditions appear to allow the same offer to be loaded to more than one card, it should be possible to use the same offer more than once on a single stay (assuming you have the offer on more than one Citi card and that you can get the hotel to split your bill at checkout).
How To Find Your Citi Offers
As far as I can tell, Citi offers are not available on the desktop site (if they’re there I can’t find them!) so the Citi Mobile App is where you need to look.
1 – Open up the app and tap on “services” (which you should see at the very bottom of the screen).
2 – On the “services” page, tap on “products & offers”
3 – You should now see your targeted offers at the bottom of the page that just opened up (you may have to wait a few seconds for them to show).
Bottom Line
Citi is targeting select cards and cardholders for a saving of $100 on $500 of spending at Mandarin Oriental properties in the US. There are four separate offers for the four different eligible properties and as these offers are appearing on multiple Citi-issued cards, the savings on offer could be significant.
