Today is the first of two ‘Big Deal’ savings days that Amazon is running for Prime members (non members can participate and give Prime membership a try from just $1.99) and there are some very good deals available on, among other things, luggage, Apple devices, earbuds, headphones and portable speakers.
Whenever these sale days come around, the first thing I usually do is check my Amazon ‘wish list’ to see if anything that I’ve stored there has come down to a price that I’m happy to pay before I dive into the electronics and luggage pages.
So far, only a couple of things on my wish list have been discounted enough to tempt me into a purchase so it has been a cheap sale for me so far, but my searches to see what other discounts are available revealed that there are a number of other deals out there that are worth a closer look… especially if you’re considering an Apple product.
So far, I haven’t found any good savings on Briggs & Riley luggage (tomorrow may bring more luck), but if you’re looking for a TUMI product you’ll find some items discounted by up to 25% and if you’re shopping for Travelpro, you’ll find one or two products discounted by up to 32%.
As far as Amazon’s electronics pages go, the discounts on some Apple products look impressive and some items are cheaper now than they have ever been in the past (there’s an especially good deal on a 2023 MacBook Air right now).
There are also some good deals around on other makes of laptops, tablets, earbuds, headphones, and speakers as well as well.
Note: Not all discounts are in honor of Prime Deal Days, some products are discounted in the normal course of things.

Other departments are showing discounts of up to 55% and 60%, but as I’m not about to delve into the wonderful world of Airfryers, Ring Doorbells, and shoes, you’ll have to look those up for yourselves 🙂
Please keep in mind that prices are dynamic, and while all the deals listed above are correct at the time of writing, things change and deals get pulled (I’ve already seen a $400 discount on a MacBook that I wanted disappear while I was writing this article).
If you see that a very good deal is available on a product that you have wanted to buy for some time, snap it up. Don’t procrastinate (as I did) unless you’re prepared to miss out (although, you may get a second chance when Black Friday/Cyber Monday roll around).
If you have found any great deals (that are, at the very least, vaguely travel-related or useful to travelers), please let me know in the comments and I’ll add them to this article.
