We don’t often cover long haul Economy Class sales here on TFM, but as Australia and New Zealand are two of the more expensive destinations to fly to from the US, we thought that we’d mention the 1-day sale that Qantas has announced in which it’s offering flyers a $250 discount.

The Qantas ‘Leap Day’ sale

Book an Economy Class fare from the US to Australia or New Zealand by 23:59 PST on 29 February 2024 using the promo code LEAPDAY, and get $250 off the base fare if you’re traveling between 1 March and 28 June or 24 July and 5 December 2024.

This offer is only valid on roundtrip bookings for Qantas marketed and operated flights, so one way fares will not be discounted nor will American Airlines codeshares.

  • Blackout periods include 29 June through 23 July 2024.
