Earlier in the year, we were awash with great cashback deals for bookings with Marriott and IHG courtesy of sites like Rakuten (ebates) and TopCashBack but, of late, things have been pretty quiet so it’s nice to see that TopCashBack is back with another good deal.

What could stop me from getting cash back?

What else is essential/good to know?
- Only purchases made on Marriott International’s US site are eligible for cash back.
- Cash back amounts are generally based on your final purchase amount and does not include taxes, shipping and the actual discount amount saved through coupons.
- Please note that transactions will initially track at $0.00 to signify that a booking has been made.
- Cash back available through TopCashback on genuine, tracked transactions completed immediately and wholly online.
- Cash Back will only be added to your account once your stay at the hotel has been completed
- Your first transaction of $0.00 may move to Payable at zero before your stay has been completed, however your cash back should still be added to your account at a later date once your stay is completed.
- Marriott claims track at a lower amount but once they reach confirmed status, the cash back uplifts to the correct amount.
Bottom Line
There are some pretty nice cashback deals available here but be sure to read all the terms and conditions very carefully before committing yourself to booking. Taking time now to make sure any bookings you make will track correctly and earn you the cashback you’re expecting can save a lot of annoyance down the line.
Also, make sure you take screenshots as you progress through the booking process just to make sure you have evidence to back up any future claims should the cashback not track correctly.
