British Airways is joining in the Black Friday/Cyber Monday fun with a series of sales/deals covering flights and holiday packages to destinations in Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East/Africa, Asia and the Indian Ocean.
The British Airways Black Friday offers are on sale as of now and will be available until midnight on 27 November 2017.

British Airways Black Friday Flight Only Deals
British Airways is offering deals on flights across all cabins but I’ve tried to pick out a few that look the most interesting.
Bear in mind that a lot of these deals are for travel quite close in (December/January) so don’t get your hopes up of an amazing Club World deal for next spring.

Thoughts
Clearly everyone will have differing opinions on these deals but here’s my take:
- Some of the Club World deals to the US look very good…but the best fares aren’t broadly available.
- I would prefer to position into Europe and then catch a great Qatar Airways Business Class fare to Asia than pay for Club World to Asia…but then I don’t mind not going non-stop and I don’t like Club World.
- The World traveller Plus fares are probably the most interesting deals of the lot and fares like Oakland for £645 roundtrip are very good value indeed (even I’m tempted with that one!)
- Of the 160 Tier Points Club Europe routes the best value (i.e it’s actually cheaper than I usually see it) is the Paphos route for £175 each way. The other 160TP routes can be found for similar prices outside of promotions like these so there no hurry to book those.
- If I could snag an exit row seat I probably wouldn’t bother with Club Europe on a short-haul route unless I needed the tier points – CE is a very, very poor product so even at reduced rates I’m generally not interested.
Bottom Line
The British Airways Black Friday deals are a mixed bag – I like some of the Club World fares to the US but I’m not really tempted by any of the others. I like a lot of the World Traveller Plus fares but I can’t see the value in a lot of the Club Europe fares….and some of those aren’t even all that much cheaper than they are most of the year round.
Overall, however, I have to give it to BA as they’ve at least come up with a few offers worthy of consideration…that’s more that I can say for a number of other Black Friday “sales” I’ve seen in the past 24 hours.
