Etihad has launched a very nice Business Class promotion for travel between the UK and the Middle East and beyond. The airline is offering 50% off its Business Class fares for departures from London, Manchester and Edinburgh and, while not all the fares are fantastic, there are a few great deals to be had.

All the discounted Business Class fares can be found on the Etihad UK home page

Thoughts

I’m a big fan of Etihad’s Business Class offering (especially on the A380) so some of these fares look very, very tempting indeed.

While most of these fares may not be as good as the fares that I sometimes post for departures from various other European cities, they’re do come with their own benefits:

  • If you’re flying from the UK you don’t have to take a positioning flight into continental Europe
  • You probably won’t need an overnight stay at a hotel (often a requirement if you want to make the most of the cheap fares out of Europe).

I’ve reviewed the Etihad A380 Business Class cabin/product and the Etihad 777 Business Class cabin/product so, if you haven’t experienced Etihad Business Class before they should give you a good idea of what to expect.

It’s worth remembering that Etihad isn’t like Qatar Airways in that you’re not going to find a great Business Class deal with them every few weeks…so it’s worth paying attention when the airline does eventually release a nice Business Class sale like this one.
