Hilton for Business launched at the beginning of 2024 and since then we've seen the program offer a variety of promotions to encourage engagement (there was a good double elite nights promo last year and there was a 5,000 bonus points/night promo that ended last month). As of today, a new engagement promotion has been launched and this one is offering Hilton for Business members a relatively straightforward path to top-tier Diamond Elite status which they can enjoy through March 2027.

My primary hotel chain is Hyatt and my back up chain is Marriott, and this means that I don't stay at Hilton properties very often. Despite this, however, I've found myself considering getting the costly Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card, and the more I think about it, the more sense getting the card seems to make.

Hotel elite status can be both vastly overrated and extremely useful depending on which status level and which hotel program we're discussing, and people's opinions can vary quite significantly. But, as a rule, having status is better than not having status, so people will go to varying degrees of effort to maintain their hotel privileges from year to year.

Three of Hilton's co-branded credit cards have, historically, allowed cardholders to earn free night certificates that could be used at any Hilton property in the world...but only on weekends. Now, however, it looks like Hilton is turning a temporary, pandemic-induced enhancement into a permanent enhancement and making the certificates considerably more valuable.
