Ebates (now known as Rakuten) has launched a big one-day promotion by offering up to 10% cash back at over 250 stores that can be found on its platform.
With newer Ebates/Rakuten members able to earn AMEX Membership Rewards points in place of cash back and with stores like Microsoft, Under Armour, and Saks all participating in this promotion, there’s significant potential to save some cash or boost a Membership Rewards Points balance right now.
On the travel front, I can only see Choice Hotels, Orbitz and Holiday Inn in the list of participating vendors (I have no idea why the other IHG brands aren’t participating if Holiday Inn is) but there are some other participants that will probably be of interest:

It’s also probably worth pointing out that Magazines.com is currently offering 40% cash back (40 AMEX Membership Rewards points per dollar) so this could be an easy way to rack up some Membership Rewards points with very little effort.
Bottom Line
Don’t forget that this promotion runs through midnight Pacific Time today, 23 September 2019 so you don’t have long to make the most of it.
Make sure you’ve added any relevant AMEX offers to your account(s) before you buy but also please don’t go buying things that you may not otherwise have bought – these promos are great way to save money on items you were already considering buying but they don’t represent a saving if they tempt you into parting with cash that would otherwise have stayed in your wallet.
