Chase appears to be targeting select cardholders for a Marriott Bonvoy offer which gives a user up to $55 off their next stay. The offer is valid for bookings that are paid for through 6 November and can be used at any domestic (US) Marriott Bonvoy brand.

The Offer

Earn 10% back on your Marriott Bonvoy domestic stay when you spend $100 or more. A maximum rebate of $55 is available with this offer.

Key Terms

  • Valid at domestic (US) Marriott properties only.
  • Offer expires 6 November 2021.
  • Offer can be used one time only.
  • Booking and payment must be made directly with Marriott (3rd party bookings will not trigger the rebate).
  • Maximum rebate is $55

Full terms and conditions can be found on the targeted offer.

Quick Thoughts

I’ve only had this offer targeted to my Ritz-Carlton Card – none of my other Chase cards have been targeted – so there’s a good chance that it’s only going to appear on a Chase Marriott Bonvoy co-branded card. If you’re carrying the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Card or the Marriott Bonvoy Bold Credit Card (both of which now come with excellent welcome offers) and have an upcoming Marriott stay, now may be a good time to check what offers Chase has targeted you for.

Personally, I usually use my Chase Sapphire Reserve Card (review) when booking Marriott stays as I value the Ultimate Rewards Points that the Reserve Card earns me more than the points that my Bonvoy cards earn me, but this offer changes that.

A 10% rebate (on up to $550) of spending is considerably more valuable than any earnings any credit card usually offers so if I book (and pay for) a Marriott stay between now and the beginning of November, I’ll use my Ritz-Carlton Card to pay for the first $550 and then ask the front desk to charge the rest to my Chase Sapphire Reserve Card to ensure that I’m maximizing my earnings.

Book with Marriott

Bottom Line

Chase has published a new targeted offer for Marriott bookings that are paid for by 6 November 2021. The offer sees spending of $100 or more rewarded with a 10% rebate but keep in mind that the maximum rebate on offer is set to $55.

Have you been targeted for this offer? if you have, what card(s) are you seeing it on?
