TAP Air Portugal has been an airline I’ve been writing about quite a bit recently. It’s taking delivery of new Airbus A330-900 aircraft complete with modern Business Class cabins, it’s flying these new aircraft on routes to/from the US from March, it’s planning to fly its new A321LR (complete with lie-flat Business Class cabin to the US this year and it frequently offers fantastic Business Class deals to the US from Europe (check the airfare deals page for more information).
Now TAP has launched a new promotion which, although only open for a limited window of time, has the potential to save travelers a lot of money.

Using The Promo Code
I’m not sure why TAP has felt the need to release 3 separate promotion codes for one promotion but, whatever the reason, all three should work.
You’ll need to select your flights first and then, on the page where TAP prices up your itinerary, you’ll see the following check box at the bottom of the screen:
Putting a check mark in the box opens up the text box into which you can enter whichever promo code you wish to use.
The one issue you may have is that the TAP website can be clunky and is often incredibly slow and the number of people that this promotion will attract isn’t going to help – patience may be required.
TAP offers some very competitive Business Class fares (mainly for departures from Europe but the US gets deals too) so if you can travel in the next few weeks and lock in one of those fares there’s every chance you’ll get a great deal.
The better fares I’ve seen out of the US recently are all from the East Coast but all have still been somewhat high (in the $2,500 – $2,800 range). With this promotion those fares suddenly become a lot more attractive at just $1,250 – $1,400 roundtrip…and US-Europe Business Class fares don’t often get better than that.
