I don’t often write about Chase offers because, on the whole, they’re not as lucrative as the offers we see targeted to Amex Cards and because, a lot of the time, they don’t have much to do with travel. Well, this Chase offer is travel-related (in a way) and because I know that TUMI has a large (if shrinking) fan base, I thought I’d throw a spotlight on it.

Chase has targeted a number of my credit cards for what looks to be a pretty good offer for spending made with TUMI.

The offer itself is pretty straightforward:

Earn 15% back on your Tumi purchase, with an $82.50 back maximum.

The offer expires on 14 July 2021, it’s valid one time only and payment must be made directly with TUMI as purchases of TUMI products through other providers (e.g. Amazon) will not trigger the rebate.

For reference, I can see this offer on my Chase Sapphire Reserve Card (review), my World of Hyatt Card (review), and my Ritz-Carlton card so it doesn’t look like this offer is being narrowly targeted so a lot of Chase credit card holders should be able to make the most of this.

One word of caution: Make sure you check the price of whatever it is you’re buying from TUMI with Amazon (here) and with other online retailers as there’s a chance that there’s a discounted deal out there that exceeds the cash back on offer here.

Also, don’t forget to click through a portal like TopCashBack, Rakuten, or one of the airline sites to make sure that you’re maximizing your savings.

One More Offer

Ok, this has absolutely nothing to do with travel but as you’re reading a post on Chase offers this one may interest you: A number of Chase cards are currently being targeted for 10% back at Best Buy:

Yes, the rebate is capped at $35 (so the offer will max out on $350 of spending) but if you’re shopping at Best Buy anyway, this should be a nice way to save a little extra cash.

Bottom Line

Chase is currently targeting select cardholders for a saving of 15% on purchases made directly with TUMI (maximum rebate of $82.50) and it’s also offering some cardholders up to $35 at Best Buy. Neither of these deals is probably good enough to make it worth buying something that you weren’t already planning to buy, but if you’ve been targeted for one or both of these deals and you were going to shop at these retailers anyway, these are nice savings to have.
