Hyatt has been running a promotion in conjunction with the American Airlines AAdvantage program since the end of February and although the promotion still has 2 months to run the closing date for registration is today…so don’t miss out.
Hyatt/AAdvantage Promotion – The Offer
Earn 1,000 AAdvantage miles when you stay at any Hyatt House or Hyatt Place property in the world.
Award nights are eligible for this offer
If you chose to earn miles on your Hyatt stays you will earn the standard 500 AAdvantage miles per stay (as you would ordinarily) and you’ll also earn a further 1,000 AAdvantage miles per stay if you register for this promotion.
If you chose to earn World of Hyatt points on your stays you will continue to earn those as normal and, as a bonus, you’ll also receive 1,000 AAdvantage miles for every eligible stay.

Hyatt/AAdvantage Promotion – Terms & Conditions
- You must be both a World of Hyatt and an AAdvantage member to participate.
- Register by April 30, 2018, with your World of Hyatt and AAdvantage membership numbers.
- Stay at a Hyatt Place or Hyatt House hotel and check out between February 20 and June 30, 2018.
- When you check in:
- Choose miles: Earn 1,000 AAdvantage bonus miles + the standard 500 AAdvantage miles for your stay or…
- Choose points: Earn 1,000 AAdvantage bonus miles + World of Hyatt Base Points for your eligible spend.
- World of Hyatt will automatically track eligible stays when you provide your World of Hyatt membership number at check-in.
- For the purpose of this promotion, an “eligible stay” is defined as any stay where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award for at least one night of their stay.
- Only the room occupied by the Member will count toward this promotion.
- Back-to-back stays within one 24-hour period at a single participating hotel are considered one stay.
- Only one (1) check-in/check-out permitted per stay.
- Please allow four to six weeks after your qualifying stay for bonus miles to be posted to your American Advantage account.

Bottom Line
Despite being limited to just Hyatt House and Hyatt Place properties this is still a pretty generous promotion as it includes award nights as well as paid stays.
Even if you don’t see yourself staying at a Hyatt House or Hyatt Place property before 30 June 2018 you should still register just in case your plans change – you’ll feel pretty silly if you miss out on free AAdvantage miles just because you didn’t take 60 seconds out of your day to register for a promotion that cost you nothing.
