Earlier today a number of our subscribers will have received a Traveling For Miles email which contained links to posts that were nothing short of utter nonsense – sorry!
No, TFM wasn’t hacked (although I admit that was my first panicked assumption). Instead it turns out that some work that was being done to the site (a new layout is coming soon) resulted in demo posts being added to Traveling For Miles which where then picked up by our newsletter software and distributed out to our readers as “new TFM posts”.
We’ve put measures in place to ensure that this doesn’t happen again and we’re sorry if any of you thought you were being spammed or being sent links of a dubious nature.
