Starwood’s SPG Pro program is aimed at meeting planners, travel professionals, executive assistants and anyone else whose job includes booking travel and venues for groups. The idea behind the scheme is to reward travel planners for booking with Starwood rather than with the competition by awarding them Starpoints and elite night credits for bookings made for others.
This week Starwood has been emailing out an offer to SPG Pro participants offering them double the usual number of Starpoints and double the the usual number of elite nights earned for bookings between 1 September and 31 December.
If you’re a participant in SPG Pro and you didn’t receive the email check your junk mail and any spam folders you have. Failing that you may want to call SPG to see if hey can add you to the promotion.
Note: SPG Pro has tiers based on the amount of spend SPG Pro members put their way – this email was sent to the lowest membership tier – other tiers may not have been targeted or may have received different offers.
